    Terry besides their speed they had very good ball skills. The trapped and passed very well. That goal in the extended period was an exceptional individual effort.

    I don't know much about soccer but it looked like we were perfectly content to sit back and hope something...anything happened.

    4 of the final 8 are South American teams. Brazil, Argentina, Uraguay, and Paraguay. I guess that says it all about where the best soccer is played. Clearly it's in South America.

    Is there an equivalent of the English Premier League in South America or do their players come to Europe to play professionally?

    Germany 3-2 over Uruguay. I found it interesting that this was the most entertaining game I've watched and the commentators said it was sort of wide open no defense kind of game. I never did like defensive games! :roll:
