Well Manfred has mandated a 60 game season, today the MLBPA has to agree to report to camp July 1 and to follow MLB's health and safety protocols. Reports are that the players are ready to agree and get back to the game.

I really don't expect that the season will start, I fully expect teams to run into trouble in the training camp that could end up shutting things down.

AJ did you watch the 30 for 30 on the summer of 1998 when McGuire, Sosa and Jr had that big home run duel that ended in McGuire hitting 70? They touched on the terrible start he got with the Cards, but said in spite of the terrible start something like 0-23 he got a standing O every time he came up.

How did you feel about the Cards trading for him midseason in 1997?
