The garage approval process started in September before we even put a contract on the house. We are now into the 9th month in the process.

The HOA stood firm on 20X30 maximum size for the garage until I pointed out that the covenants did not specify how many garages could be built at 20X30 each. I amended my modification request to include 2 garages 20X30 each and the second one was going on the side of the house next door to the HOA Secretary.

Immediately, my 22X40 garage was approved.
