I have watched the entire series and thought it was great. It is a prequel to the Inspector Morse series which I never could get really interested in
Terry, that's interesting. Inspector Morse is a series I was thinking about when my friend recommended Endeavour. I did some research and learned that E is a prequel to IM. Thanks for your assessment of both.
Sid don't take my opinion, Inspector Morse was a long running success in spite of my lukewarm review.
Well, I'll be watching Endeavour for quite some time. When done, I'll check out Inspector Morris. Thanks for the info.
If you are a Fargo fan a new season starts Tues on FX and the next day on HULU. It's been a number of years since the last season of Fargo, the one with Chris Rock and the Kansas City Mob. They have all been great. I've also started Lawmen:Bass Reeves I just watched the 1st episode which sort of sets up the whole back story of how he got to be what he became. Looks good so far, it's on Paramount +
Finished watching Griselda on Netflix, it's an 80's drug soap opera about a real woman who took over the Miami drug scene, pretty gruesome at times as you might expect. But I couldn't stop watching it. If you aren't offended by the violence it's recommended. I have seen it compared to Narcos. If you would like a Hallmark style Rom-Com, try The other Zoey. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have started watching Tracker on CBS and really like it and I have enjoyed The Irrational as well. I have watched several Harlen Coben books turned into limited series. I have liked them all. 1. Fool me Once 2. The Stranger 3. Safe
I've watched The Other Zoey and loved it. I'm a sucker for rom-coms and have seen almost every Hallmark movie ever made in the past 6-7 years. Judy and I used to watch them together, and I continued the tradition. However, I'm gradually weaning myself off that formula and watching more Netflix and Prime Video movies and really like them. I also am watching Tracker and like it a lot. For the baseball geeks, I recommend The Hill on Netflix. A true story with the usual dramatic license. I also recommend highly (especially for Terry) My All-American on Prime Video, the true story of a U. of Texas football player on the 1969 national championship team.
Just finished Tokyo Vice on Cinemax and/or Amazon. Great story about young US journalist working for a large Tokyo paper getting caught up in the Japanese underworld. Well done, 14 episodes or so. Highly recommend
Watching "A Gentleman from Moscow". It was on Showtime and we are watching it On Demand. It is really good.
Got the wife to sit down... now she always wants to see what's next for Walter White in Breaking Bad. Tulsa King looks interesting... but I'm not subscribing to any services to get it.
