Congrats Sid and any other Cubs fans here...they played the harder more passionate baseball....hats off, and I mean that. In closing, playing that song was cheesy bush league ********....and the average Asshole Cubs fan doesnt have a clue past WGN marketing and the "We deserve to win a WS" persona what MLB should be.....with that said, you beat the best team in Baseball record wise, but will you stop there or will you have another date of Destiny with the Goat?
OK there goes 1/2 of my dream series, Cards vs Astros...shades of 2005. If Dodgers lose to the Mets, and it's a Cubs/Mets NLCS...nobody would have predicted that.
Congratulations Sid, it has been a long wait! AJ, you had a great season, so do not feel too bad. Don
  It's still a great win. It's hard to believe that was the first time the Cubs had have ever won a post season playoff at Wrigley Field. This was one to remember!
Opps, somewhere along the line the Cubs forgot to listen. Congratulations to the Cubs, I will be pulling for them to go all the way. On a Fantasy Baseball note I do a Fantasy league with a friend from FPL where I retired 22 years ago. We have done pretty well over the years and after a horrorendous start this year won going away at the end. Two of our pickups during the season that we probably would not have won without was the Cub catcher Schwarber and the Marlins pitcher Fernandez who we picked up a few weeks before he came back. Both those guys were terrific for us as we drove through to the championship.
ESPN has a headline that says the The First Cubs playoff clincher in Wrigley was worth the wait....really? You don't think Cubs fans would have been even happier if it'd happened 20, 30 years ago? Congrats to Cubs fans though. A.J. and I will have to just live with the disappointment, but we'll always have that we had the best record in baseball this year in the regular season. Je Suis Cubs fan now!
