Scott, Congratulations on A&M never giving up. Great game. If someone had told me Alabama gave up 42 points and still won, I would not have believed them. Number 13 is a great receiver.
Great win for your guys. Our defense isnt ready for prime time yet and just couldnt slow your offense.
That was an excellent game. Johnny Football showed what a great player he is no matter what the score. A&M defense is very young and should be better by the end of the year. Congrats to the Tide.
A&M is/will learn that the great separator in this conference is defense. You can outscore a lot of people, but it is the defense that wins it even on nights in which they give up 42 points to the defending Heisman winner. Manziel is really something. Bama had all the right ideas in this game. I can't help but wonder if they may suffer some hangover in the next game. It seemed to be everywhere today.
I really wish we had gone to the running game earlier, burned more clock and kept Manziel off of the field. I'm not sure which is A&M's MVP from yesterday, Manziel or the WR No. 13 (forgot his name). He hurt us last year and almost beat us again this year. Again very good game Scott.
KP had deleted me on Facebook so I wasn't able to cite him as the shining example of what Tide fans should be. Jesus they are annoying. Not Auburn annoying, but pretty bad. They should be more like KP. The 'Johnny Who' shirts are already out in force. I heard somewhere that is the most amount of points ever given up by Alabama in a win. Manziel is the reason. I believe last year it was Swope who gave the Tide fits. It's different WRs, but the same QB. Clearly, the smart thing to do is what Alabama did. Play keep away. It's a dangerous game, but I'm not sure there's another way at this level.
 JFF threw for 464 yards and 5 TDs. The greatest passing performance against Bama...ever...according to some guy on TV last night. The difference in the game was the tipped pass interception...
I'm finally home! I didn't run into any annoying Tide fans on the way out. All were complimentary, and glad they "escaped" with a win. I would like to hear a few of the talking heads who espoused how Nick Saban's 10 months of preparation would surely shut down JF and the Aggie attack. That didn't happen. But two turnovers and a super efficient ball control offense was the difference. I look at my remaining schedule, and wonder who is left that can execute that same plan? Not many red flags show up. LSU probably has enough defense to slow the Ags, but I'm not totally sold on the Metz offense being enough. Being in Red Stick will make it interesting of course. So who knows what happens if we were to beat LSU while they beat Bama??? Another congratulations to kp. His team went into a very loud environment, and took care of business. :!:
The Big 12 delema circa 2008. Bet the highest rank gets the nod. But if I remember correctly while the B12 didn't really have rules that adequately addressed that 3 way tie, the SEC did.
Scott, While I am not a Manziel fan per say, I agree with Terry, he is one heck of a football player! The Aggies made a good game of it and scored more points than most thought possible.
