What's wrong with that? Nothing wrong with you having an opinion, but when you state something that is so far away from what most people consider reality there's nothing wrong with calling your hand either. A dropped pass by Ohio State in the endzone and a roughing the kicker penalty is the difference in this game, the yardage is close and those two mistakes are the difference. However one is entitled to their opinion.
That interception ended it, but I will maintain that Ohio State gave a pretty good accounting of themselves and the dropped pass on an apparent Ohio State touchdown where they ended up not getting any points and the roughing the kicker penalty changed the entire complexion of this game. I have to turn the computer over to my wife right now so have to sign off for a bit.
Anyone else catch that graphic that was just put up about Ohio States starters? Only 3 seniors in their starting offense and defense. They will be right back highly ranked next season.
I'm very impressed with LSU, they had a great defense...of course ND fans knew that already from last year's Sugar Bowl. I'll bet no OSU fan would have predicted a loss when Wells goes for 150yds. But all in all a great year for the Buckeyes, this was a rebuilding year for them and they make it back to the NC game. Congrats to the Tigers and the Buckeyes for great seasons.
I think we have something in common here Bobda, you play Ohio State every year and we play LSU every year.
Thanks to a 4th and 23 blunder by the Bucks my wallet has less Bucks. Nice goin Melvin.... In any event it was a little surprising to hear that OSU has beaten no top 20 ranked teams this season. They tried hard but I have to say they looked outmatched, smaller and except for Wells they ..I hate to say it....looked slower. That offensive line for two years in a row was no match for a top SEC defensive line full of future NFLers.
True, Bill, but you guys seem to do a little better against the Tigers than we do against the Bucks. Good night guys.
Valentine's Day. Buy that candy and order those flowers now. ...and don't forget to pick up something for the wife, too.
Ohio State made some critical errors that are not characteristic of a Tressel coached team, that roughing the punter and all those personal foul penalities...really took away any chance that they had.
LSU looked good tonight, "but" I think UGA has a faster defense. We'll find out next season. Ohio State, God bless 'em, What's there record in bowl games against the SEC?
To say we got our butts kicked again is probably an understatement! Not much to add what has already been said. We lost our composure, made some terrible mental errors and the rest is history. LSU played very well and once recovered from a slow start, their lines pretty well manhandled us. The title belongs to them. Our pass defense really sucked. Don
MCG, Thanks for not giving me your bookie's number  Have they burnt Tressel's house down yet? 8)
TailBack, Georgia is on an upswing right now and you're going to find it impossible to be gracious, aren't you? It's going to be a long year boys. I give you Gonzolito( "The Little Bulldog" ), the Georgia Pit Bull.
Just remember....when you read all the media bashing soon to come it's not me......but it will be out there. As I said ...all things being equal with three teams in the hunt I think the Buckeyes will take a rest for awhile. Now if they go unbeaten with a much tougher schedule they have a good shot but I just don't think they are going to get easy passes into the title game in the near future no matter how much Herbstreidt stumps for them. This article actually goes fairly easy on the Buckeyes: http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/7650690?MSNHPHMA ....and it's still not that easy....
