I don't know how I missed this last weekend: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5RlmHFs-4-M" frameborder="0"></iframe> That move at the end? Did that boy break both his ankles??
Lost in the shuffle was Purdue, who was thoroughly beaten by the Irish (and clearly we aren't a great team) and to me looked like they would not have a good season has beaten a top 25 Illini team and of course Minn. Maybe they have turned some sort of corner. I saw some of their game with Illinois and noted that Robert Marve is not the QB, the guy who started against ND is and he looked a lot different against Illinois than he did against us. Stu are things starting to look up for the Boilermakers?
Terry, I think we are starting to establish an identity and figure out what we do best. Defense keeps getting better also. We have good special teams and a great kicker, yet they let us down in two games. We could easily be 6-1 right now and 3-0 in conference play. Now comes the meatgrinder part of the schedule. We have to win two to be eligible for a bowl for the first time in a while...Schedule is Michigan, Wisconsin, OSU, Iowa, and Indiana.
Stu, I can't imagine that you will not beat Indiana, and the Iowa game is up for grabs. Now if you can pull off the upset vs. Michigan.....................
Well, overconfidence can be a bad thing. IU beat us last year, and it probably shouldn't have happened. Best to just beat Michigan and Wiscy and get it over with early.
