Week 8 College Football.

I plan on channel flipping tonight but I'd be shocked if Northwestern makes this a game.

 

Ohio State leads 31-3 at half, thanks to a 55 yd Field Goal as half ended. GO Bucks!

 

Northwestern really struggling with their offense. There defense made us earn the rushing yards. Final 52-3 and 7-0 for the season. Coach Day pulled the starters early in the 4th quarter. Master Teague scored on a 73 yard run in the last quarter!

 

Looks like a large number of good games to watch today.

 

Alabama vs Tennessee may not be what it used to be. 3rd Saturday in October!

 

I wonder what MCG thinks about the officiating today. I'll bet he approves.

 

Inexcusable missed calls hurt SC. This doesn't mean they were robbed of the win, but it allowed Florida to score 2 key TDs at crucial points in the game. Worst officiated game I've seen in a long time.

I didn't see the UF/So. Carolina game but reading my InsideTexas boards and some others...the general feeling is what Sid said.

Also more than a little shine taken off the Wisconsin/Ohio State game with that huge upset today in Champaign.

 

I see that the Sooner Schooner tipped over today, that's about the only thing that went wrong in Norman.

Also saw a bad look for a Clemson player, who threw a punch at a player on a kick return. He was the gunner and was battling the Louisville player down the field. But then he shoved him down and jumped right on top of him and threw some punches. All caught in 1080p in brilliant color. He of course was ejected.

Wisconsin offense has been sputtering a bit since that beat down of Michigan. Look at the Northwestern/ Wisc game vs the Ohio State/Northwestern game. The score of the Mich State game made you think they had a great offense, but Taylor didn't run for 100 yards. Of course to be fair Mich State has a pretty good defense. Maybe they were looking ahead to Columbus next weekend.

 

Wisconsin upset. Missouri is upset by Vanderbilt. UNC and VTech are going to OT number 5!! What a kooky day. I think UGA is struggling with Kentucky?

 

I didn't know this new rule for 2019. In the 5th OT, the teams just get a 2 point conversion shot each to win the game. Interesting. VTech didn't get it. UNC about to go right now.

Georgia is.struggling on offense. No passing game at.all

 

Virginia Tech wins. Georgia finally scores.... but Ole Miss is beating A&M early.

 

And Michigan is doing another soufflé on the road. 14-0 PSU early in the 2Q.

 

Good news for me... the Aggies just played about the worst offensive first half possible, and still lead by 3. Sheesh. Wiscy upset is stunning. Never saw that one coming.

Well....M has battled back. 28-21 PSU. M’s offense has started to really click and PSU’s offense has been either jackpot or 3 and out that has caused their defense to be on the field way too long.
