UGA's problem is they lost to an unranked opponent at home. That's one that doesn't carry much weight at the end of the year. Of course if they go out and kill Florida, Missouri, Auburn and A&M and win the SECCG then maybe they can overcome this loss. Single elimination from now on obviously.

That's pretty much the 2015 Ohio State formula. The lost to unranked Va.Tech and then won out, most importantly finishing off with a solid victory over arch rival Michigan followed by a total destruction of Wisconsin in the Big10 Championship...all behind a backup QB.

Terry, yeah Georgia could.do.all.that and still be left out. It depends on how everybody else plays out.

Has everybody seen the story about the Alabama student who called in a bomb threat to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge during the LSU/UF game? He reportedly said he was trying to help out a buddy who was about to lose a big bet. The thing is that calling in a bomb threat doesn't cancel the game, sure they might empty the stadium even and get the teams off the field, but they would come back and eventually finish the game. There are games on record where the game was delayed hours waiting on weather. So there was no way he was getting his buddy out of that threat anyway. Now he's a felon and his buddy just lost some money.

The story I read said that they got him very quickly, which is surprising. Did he use his own cellphone?

I'm sure his parents are very proud. :(

How much did the parents have to pay to get him into Alabama? Obviously this guy doesn't have the tickets for college.

Want to bet he was drunk or high when he made the call?
