Buckeyes come out in all Black? This will be the first time I've really watched Ohio State. I'm going to be interested in how Justin Fields holds up against the tough MSU defense.

My picks ems are absolutely a dumpster fire. I had no feel for this week and it showed.

SMU's top 25 run ends tonight, Tulsa putting it on them

    Oregon State beating UCLA

And surprisingly CAL is beating Oregon at Oregon.

Pitt beating Duke at Duke. I had Duke.

Tenn hung with UGA longer than I thought. They were a dumpster fire this week. I figured they'd just get beat badly I mean really badly.

SMU has come all the way back to force overtime.
Oregon is smoking a really good Cal team.

    Crazy week.
Was talking to Ralph as the Canes were getting taken to the woodshed, and they reel off a string of points to tie, only to fall 10 yards short.
Now SMU is doing similar. I see Tulsa scored in OT... guess we'll see.

Man, I thought MSU played pretty well tonight but Ohio still blew off their doors. Urban left Day a treasure trove of talent.

Huge win for the Gators. Looks like Georgia is not going to waltz through the SEC East.

Well the Ponies pull it out in 3OT's ...they were dead in the water at one point.

The tree's are out to an early lead over Washington...that'd be a big upset.

SMU wins it. How ironic is it that SMU is 6-0 in the year that we finally decide to let athlete's earn endorsement money? :)

Stanford goes to Seattle and beats Washington. That's a big upset, it pretty much leaves Oregon in control in the Pac12.

Also in the red shirt saga, Rutgers starting QB and RB didn't play in the game yesterday vs Maryland so they could redshirt and save a year. They are healthy, just don't want to play for RU anymore this year.

The Swamp yesterday was as energized and loud as it was in the hey day of Tim Tebow and Spurrier.
Reminded me of the night in 1999 UF played and beat defending national champion Tennessee.
It was so loud on Perine's 88 yard TD run that it left my ears ringing. :)
    Happy Gator this morning.

Washington traveled to Stanford. It still seems that a good way to separate good from elite teams is how they do on the road against a quality opponent.

I broke down the game in the other thread. Washington was not prepared for Stanford's new offensive strategy at all. They made no in-game adjustments to handle it, either. Stanford just won that football game.

Just thinking about what went on this weekend.

    Things that I noted.

    1. Not so much that UC beat UCF, I think other than that blowout in Columbus the Bearcats have been a pretty good team this year. UCF just not quite the team they have been recently. QB play not up to what Mckinze Milton was doing when they had that undefeated streak. The AAC is pretty much up for grabs now, SMU, Memphis and Tulane in the West and UC, Temple and UCF in the East. They all look pretty equal. It would seem like the chances of the AAC getting a New Years Six bowl ride on SMU or Memphis running the table.

    2. Pac 12 took a hit when Washington went down. They along with Oregon were considered the best shots for a CFP berth. But both needed to run the table. UW with 2 losses is out. Oregon if they could run the table could inch back up and get into range. How about Kevin Sumlin and the Arizona Wildcats. After the dust settled they are the only undefeated team in the Pac 12 South. Not likely to stay that way though.

    3. How about those Baylor Bears? Give Matt Rhule an extension send him up to KState and he gets the win. He's done a great job there, they were a dumpster fire when he took over. Of course the schedule gets tougher from here on out, Texas and OU loom.

    4. Buckeyes and Wisconsin look like the class of the Big 10. Both had very good wins over the weekend. Both look to be undefeated when the meet in Columbus at the end of October. In the meantime nobody is talking about Minn and Penn State.

    5. Jalen Hurts what a great move he made to OU.

    6. Les Miles fired his OCoord and promoted an Analyst I've never heard of to OCoord/QB coach. Who saw that coming? Said this new guy is the
So why didn't he hire him in the first place? The Hat wants what the Hat wants! I wonder if this guy will bring back his old LSU offense?
