H hmm, it keeps coming up on Bing search. It even has the NCAA logo on the top and it.reflects.the Alabama drop to #5. I can't copy the link on my kindle. Well at least it is good news.
So you aren't looking at the AP or Coaches polls then. 2021 College Football Rankings for Week 7 | ESPN
I see that Scotts Qb 1 is likely not to play again this season. According to Jimbo. Brings up what happens if A&M wins out with Calzada at QB? Is there a competition in the Spring, or does Calzada have the job and King is the backup?
Re: Rankings. Five Big10 teams in the Top Ten? Am I seeing things? Undefeated Coastal Caroline creeping up on ND? It sure is an interesting season so far.
I think Saban may finally realize this year's offense is not last years offense Saban wonders aloud if Alabama ran it enough in A&M red zone
The ranked B10 East teams will start playing against each other in a few weeks. By the time they are done, probably will end up with 2 teams in the top 10. Iowa in the West will get tested by Wisconsin and Nebraska.
Iowa looks like they have a good shot at running the table in the regular season and ending up 12-0. They aren't a juggernaut though and it's certainly possible for them to trip some place along the way. I won't be surprised if Ohio State runs the table to the Michigan game, but certainly Penn State if Sean Clifford is back and healthy and Michigan State if they continue to play the way that they have been playing present significant challenges, but both of those games are in Columbus. Michigan on the other hand has to go to East Lansing and to Happy Valley for MSU and PSU.
The B1G East teams certainly have the rougher road than Iowa. Probably putting the jinx on myself (just look at how "smart" my picks have been) but I am very encouraged by the improvement in Ohio State's very young players...especially on defense. Also I just thought Stroud was "ok" in his first two starts but he was certainly dropping dimes in the Md. game. Still, Michigan and Michigan State are playing very well, and PSU looms as well.
This whole thing is a media creation, but since they created it it couldn't hurt Fisher's recruiting.
Agree kp, he had already said he didn't care about beating Nick because he was a former boss, it was all about getting his team to understand how to compete against a great opponent and their great coach.

I wasn't aware of this...but Ferentz sort of accused Penn State players of faking injuries. Which James Franklin said made no sense since the Hawkeyes don't run an up tempo offense. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said that while some Penn State players injured in Saturday's game had legitimate ailments, he understands why Hawkeyes fans booed when other Nittany Lions players went down. Ferentz on Tuesday noted that Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford did not return to the game after leaving early in the second quarter and that he could see another Nittany Lions player on the bench with an ice bag on his leg. "I hope those guys are well, I don't know what their status is," Ferentz said. "Nobody wants to see anybody get hurt. But I think probably [the booing] is a reaction to, there were a couple of guys that were down for the count and then were back a play or two later. Our fans aren't stupid. They're watching, they know what's going on. Ferentz: Iowa fans 'smelled rat' with PSU injuries
Re: PSU "injuries" the TV commentators mentioned that the "injuries" seemed to happen each time that Iowa had a big play. It certainly seemed that way.
Franklin shot back at Ferentz ... The idea that Penn State's defenders would need to fake injuries to slow down Iowa's lightning fast offense also strains credulity. Iowa ran the ball 45 times for 110 yards. It gained 195 yards on 31 passes; 44 on a 1-play touchdown drive, 151 on the remaining 30. The Nittany Lions did not need to slow things down to get a handle on a fearsome Hawkeye attack. The Baker Mayfield Oklahoma Sooners, these were not. "How does this strategy make sense against a huddle team?" Franklin asked. "People use this strategy to slow down spread offenses." Franklin also noted Penn State did not fake injuries in five previous games against Iowa, nor other 132 he's coached across a 12-year career.
