Even though it took Bama until only two minutes left in 1st quarter that was their first possession. I'm not sure why it took so long but it was their first time.

If Cincinnati wins this game with their schedule they have a real shot at making the playoff.

You can stick a fork in Ole Miss and Kiffin. 28-0 57 seconds left in first half.

Yes and actually we have.scored after the 3rd one now. Kiffin has pulled out all of the stops and it has backfired so far.

Yeah those of us who thought it would be a shootout like last year, were wrong and I won't be shocked if it turns out 58 -0 now.

17-7 now maybe the defense can score 14? :)

I think Notre Dame can still win.

Another missed field goal. Irish need to take advantage.

Oh my great catch in the end zone. Missed the extra point. 13-17.

What is it in this game with the FG and XP misses?

Ole Miss is defenseless and they totally abandoned the running game. I think Kiffin got psyched out.

I've never seen this. KState did an onside kick and recovered it, but in slowmo the KState kicker topped the ball to get it started but it bounced up a little and touched his heel. That's illegal touching. I've never seen that and I'm surprised that Lincoln Riley even saw it and had the knowledge to challenge it. Ball to OU instead of KState recovering it.

Irish loss was a bit tough to swallow. Congrats to Cincinnati they played a very good game, but as a fan I am bummed because I think we could have won, but we just made too many mistakes. I question the decision to start Coan, I question the decision to bring in Buchner as what amounts to a WildCat QB and they were ready for him, he had no chance. But when the game was on the line and they needed it they made the drive to put the score out of reach for the Irish. So they were the better team today, their QB made some really good throws and their defense made plays when they needed them.

Even if we'd won we are not a great team, we just have too many holes to be that on offense. Our defense is very good but not Georgia/Alabama good and with our offense we'd need that to be close to being a great team.

10-2 will be an excellent record for this team and each week is going to be a slugfest and close game.
