The Texas/TCU game is kind of a must win game for the Longhorns, after the pounding of Texas Tech and they way the running game has been developing combined with how easily SMU ran on TCU, I was thinking the Longhorns would run all over TCU. But Vegas isn't as optimistic and has Texas as 4 point favorites. Maybe they are looking at the last 10 years when TCU has been 7-2 vs Texas. If I were a betting man I'd give the points in a heartbeat.
Last time Arkansas beat a top 10 team on the road? My freshman year at Texas. 1964. 14-13. We beat them everywhere but the scoreboard. Future college Head Coach, Ken Hatfield, had a big punt return for a TD in that game.
To say Iowa smothered Maryland is a bit of an understatement? Turnovers hurt Maryland and Iowa seemed to pounce on each one. Iowa looks to have an excellent defense.
JT Daniels injured? He's been practicing some, but Smart says it's a game time decision depending on how he does in warmups. If he can't go that's a big deal.
Official no JT Daniels for Georgia, it's Stetson Bennett who played a lot last year and had some good games and even came off the bench and beat Arkansas. But he was also benched late in the season. I think if you took Arkansas and the points this makes that a pretty good bet.
Terrific blocked punt, Ark punting from it's own endzone, TD Georgia. 21-0 Georgia. This is turning into a rout.
TCU just fumbled a punt inside the 10 and Texas recovered. But we have to kick the FG. 16-14 Texas If not for TCU gifts we'd be in trouble.
