Did I leave out North Carolina losing at home to Appalachian State? Scott, I watched it. I'd be frustrated too. It's not that Auburn isn't a top 10 team, but rather than you guys are a lot better than what your record would indicate.
Yeah I shared that on my Facebook under the title 'Rebel Pride, or something.' I love college football. You can see cultures and communities intersecting with other races and backgrounds.
After the dust settled on week 4 it appears that right now... Alabama and Clemson are locks for the CFP. The other 2 will come from Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma. Obviously a long way to go and it's unlikely there will be more than 1 or at most 2 undefeated squads. Last year with 3 undefeated was an outlier. Heisman Race. I doubt much has changed, maybe Johnathon Taylors case has become stronger with his performance vs Michigan, the record setting game Joe Burrow had this past weekend also solidified his creds. Tua is Tua and Trevor is still looking good. Right now though the buzz is all Jalen Hurts.
"You can see cultures and communities intersecting with other races and backgrounds. " Corey you're such a diplomat... LOL I'm just concerned that Auburn might bring their own refs with em in two weeks vs. UF like they must have for the Aggies game....
No one cheats better than Auburn..... https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/f...l-foul-as-florida-runs-out-of-time-vs-auburn/ There was a PI non-call on an Auburn DB near the end of the Aggie game on Sat. that was so damn flagrant.....
SDS is still crying about "Notre Dame cheating by faking injuries" and I can't stop laughing. With all that whining going on down here, you'd think they lost the game. The whining never ends, but it's fun. BTW, I know everyone has Alabama penciled into the NC game so far but they really haven't shown they can run the ball effectively against 3 bad teams. I'm not bad mouthing Alabama, I'm just saying that they are far from perfect and are very young at some key positions. People seem to overlook that, which you can given their opponents to date, but those chickens may well come home to roost at some point.
Where was their outrage when LSU defensive players were going down left and right in the 2nd half...announcers conveniently didn't notice that no LSU OL's were going down, and that it's as hot and more humid in Baton Rouge than Austin. They were clearly going down to slow down the tempo of the Longhorns offense, which was on the move.
Well it's a given that either Alabama or LSU will have at least 1 loss and the same will be true of LSU and Georgia. I think it works out that only 1 of the 3 will be undefeated after the SECCG assuming it is Alabama/LSU vs Georgia in the SECCG.
Corey, I said.the same thing on the Skybox last week. Our OL is not opening holes and that makes us dangerously one dimensional. Our linebackers are not filling the holes nor are they pass covering the short over the middle.routes either. Alabama definitely needs some young players to grow up quickly.
We have a long history of being screwed by Auburn but usually it happens at their place.... not when they travel to the Swamp but after watching the questionable officiating in the game at College Station on Sat. it makes me nervous that maybe they now have a traveling circus of officiating crews.
Certainly is a lot of football left to play, it wasn't but 2 years ago that unbeaten UGA and Alabama were waylaid on their way to undefeated season by Auburn. So yeah a lot of things can happen....even a kick 6!
Well that's kind of a built in excuse. Injuries and officiating are things that all teams have.to overcome at times over the years.
