I am however very surprised that SMU is taking care of business vs TCU. SMU has transfer QB Shane Buchele from Texas and apparently he's doing well at SMU
Oh Pitt inside the 5, 4th down. Down a score. A TD here is huge. Oh my.. Trick play on UCF.. Pitt 35-34!
I had a feeling about Pitt, they played Penn State to the wire last week. UCF going to Pitt was a long trip for them.
uh oh. Oklahoma State coming out like a house on fire v the Longhorn defense. Drives the length of the field but couldn't push it in.. OSU 3- Tex 0
I see the 'horns are up 21-20 at half. B12 football!! Watching the half time show, they had the final seconds of the Ole Miss/CAL game. It sure looked like the Ole Miss kid scored, they'd have had to go for 2 to get to OT, but still. No replay because Ole Miss was out of time and had to get right to the LOS and run a play. Illinois up on Neb almost to half...I'm pretty shocked, of course they have a ways to go so it's not over till it's over.
Woodson is someone who has been very circumspect and usually very positive in his comments about the program since he graduated. So when he does offer criticism, that is going to be taken to heart by a lot of M fans.
Who knows, maybe Woodson has hit a on something?? Apparently Harbaugh has not been able to correct the problem, problems?
WTF...I go to bed with Wazzu up comfortably over UCLA 35-17 after a slow start only to wake up with them losing 67-63.
Bobda, they recruited a huge kid from Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger who was a HS road grader. He's a freshman, last name Tippman. We'll see how he develops.
Corey and Ralph, that was a real shocker when I saw the score this morning, not to mention my loss of confidence points!
I am glad we have the Miami Ohio game out of the way. Scheduling weaker teams is disturbing to me, but we are not alone. Our scoring 76 points did not help any either. I did not watch hardly any of the second half. Justin Fields and Dobbins did not play in the second half. Nebraska finally scored some points in the final quarter to beat Illinois. We play the Cornhuskers in Lincoln, in a night game, this coming week.
I watched the UCLA game. They played with heart for the first time all year and refused to go away. They had a few 'miracle' plays in the game, but when a team starts making those consistently, you have to ask is it luck, or will?? When they closed the lead down to 3, I knew the Bruins were in prime "Cougin'" territory. Still, I don't think Wazzu blew that as much as the Bruins took it. I was shocked.
Yeah Hogs are just not good. Chad Morris has a big rebuilding job to get the players to fit his offense. So does Jeremy Pruitt at Tennessee. Both those guys inherited bad rosters.
I haven't gotten to b!tch yet , so here goes. WTF?? How do the Aggies manage to screw up against those idjits from Auburn?? They passed for a whopping 100 yds... did manage 193 on the ground thanks to those Gawd-damned Gusbus double reverse crap plays! UGH My offense just can't get out of their own damned way and yet we had the ball for 8 minutes MORE than them. The QB is so damned smart now he likes to sit there and look for his 4th read when he has 30 yds of open field in front of him... GGGGRRRR!!!! I will tell you now: Auburn is NOT a top 10 team... but the Aggies are just too f'ing smart to play like a top 30 team. AND (not a cause for the loss, but much consternation) when did it become legal for the DB's to tackle the WR just as the QB is releasing the ball? Auburn sure is good at it.
