I promise, I was hearing what you had to say, pretty impressive. Heck much more impressive KP than what I’m rooting for at the moment.
Well Kedon Slovis had a great start last week, but has 3 picks today and USC losses in OT on his 3rd pick. So I guess we can tap the brakes on his Heisman campaign for the moment!
What a wild ending for the Arz. State v Mich State game. ASU took a 3 point lead late leaving MSU little time, MSU moved down into FG territory on a PI call that the ASU kid should've just let the receiver go as the pass was sailing out of bounds. The MSU kicker makes it to tie it and a likely OT. But they had 12 men on the field when the ball was snapped and he had to do it over and he hooked the heck out of it giving the game to Az. State.
Yes, they still may not play a ranked team and that may/should hurt their argument but they are trying.
Hmmm, not much in the way of adding to the games but got in a hurry cooking a meatloaf on the pellet grill and poured all the juices at 350 degrees down one leg, ouch. I guess the meatloaf was good, but chit I’ll be up all night now... Duhhhh, not very smart
Terry, YES! I mentioned above that the Alabama OL is not blowing people off of the line. We are are in danger of becoming one dimensional and that will not do against teams like LSU, Auburn and Texas A&M.
What happened to Felipe Franks? I just switched to the Kentucky/UF game and Trask is the QB and they are saying Franks is done for the season. Ralph! Grillin' is dangerous! Never heard of grilled Meatloaf though!
One of my favorite local restaurants named Dooley O'Toole's has grilled meatloaf on its menu. It's delicious, a favorite of mine. Terry, if you ever get up this way, it'll be my treat.
It looked like one of the Kentucky players rolled on his ankle. He was put in a air cast immediately and driven off of the field.
That targeting call in the Florida Kentucky game was ridiculous and may well have handed the game to the Gators. How can a kid be called for targeting when the QB is being pulled down and spun around by another player? I get the spirit of targeting, but man, more often than not I disagree with the call. Then I see other examples of targeting that are clearly targeting and even the replay booth doesn't buzz down for it. I dunno, I just hate that rule.
aaaand Kentucky misses a FG with less than a minute left. Just Kentucky doing Kentucky things against the Gators.
I thought that targeting call was correct, it was unfortunate but he did hit him with the helmet. I do think though that the rule is called so differently from game to game and crew to crew. I like the intent of the rule and don't really know how they solve the problem over getting consistent calls. Either way the Gators won going away. They outplayed Kentucky starting when the Trask kid came in for Franks, they were demons on defense and Trask made a lot of good throws.
Switching back to OU/UCLA...it's 4th qtr and OU has a big lead and Hurts is still in the game. How else can Riley get the ridiculous numbers a qB needs to make it to New York City
Ralph, are you OK after that? Be careful, burn injuries can become infected quickly. Might be a good idea to see a doctor. just a suggestion.
Hurts looks really comfortable running Riley’s offense. With his running ability and all of the space that Riley’s offense creates, he does not have to be a pinpoint passer to be effective while running it.
From CBS Sports: "This series is wild: Saturday's game was insane. The 31-year Florida winning streak was broken last year. Kentucky forgot to cover UF's receivers twice in 2017. The Gators topped the Wildcats in a controversial three-overtime game in 2013. This is what the SEC East needs -- more fun. Georgia has become a monster in the division, and Tennessee's ineptitude has diminished the rivalries that Georgia and Florida have with the Vols. Kentucky-Florida has stepped in to provide much-needed entertainment in a division that hasn't exactly been the deepest division in the country. The upward trajectory of both programs should make next year's edition must-see TV."
