Wake holds on to beat North Carolina. Les Miles and his Kansas Jayhawks absolutely crushed Boston College. It took Wazzu and Houston 20 minutes to score a single point. Strange things are afoot this Friday the 13th.

Kansas can only score 7 points at home against Coastal Carolina but then go on the road and put 48 on BC. How on the hell can a team turn it around like that in 1 week?

That's the frustrating magic of Les Miles, my man. :)

Agree Corey. Friday the 13th...full moon...all of the omens were pointing in favor of some Mad Hatter voodoo.

I am certain most of the Notre Dame fans were disappointed that Kansas was able to upset Boston College?;)

That was an excellent game between Wake Forrest and North Carolina to watch. Mac Brown really looked happy to be coaching on the sidelines.

That KU upset of BC was a really big shocker. I mean they barely got by Indiana State, then lost at home to Coastal Carolina..I'd say BC probably showed up expecting a cake walk only to have a football game breakout.

Was at the Wash State game with Kes and Scott and their families. Great game, as Corey noted it was pretty shocking to see the lack of scoring early on, I figured first team to 60 would win. But both sides finally got untracked and we saw some offense. Houston ran the ball very well and Wazzu threw the ball very well. Fun game once things got rolling! Always good to see Kes and Scott, it'd been a few years since Bill and Jeannie made a stop in Houston and Kes and I met them for lunch. I don't think I'd seen Scott since the Aggies made their trip to South Bend in the Bob Davie era.

Oh yeah and most impressive thing ...Scott's F250...jeez that is one big truck.:D

Let's see how Alabama's running game does against a SEC defense. If I was Muschamp, I would concede the run and do everything I could to put pressure on Tagavolua. Let's see what happens!

Kansas State is currently mauling Miss State, and of course, as I type this the kid from Kansas State fumbles a punt at the 50. Let's see what Miss State can't go with it. I'm flipping between this one and the Maryland/Temple game. Maryland is leaving points on the field all day so far and have only scored 2.

KState let Miss State up off the mat and have found themselves in a battle now. I was surprised to see Pitt beating Penn State. They haven't done any cut-ins or anything to that game. I only found it while channel flipping.

btw-these B12 officials in this game aren't doing KState any favors. They are really bad.

The Maryland score is unbelievable...I mean these guys just rolled over the 1st 2 opponents. Scored 150 points..now Temple might be really good but still it's surprising.

Penn State struggled in the 1st half last week as well, caught fire in the 2nd half.

Another shocker is W.Virgina ..their offense has been as bad as Marylands has been good...yet they have a offensive explosion.

Oh and we're minutes from ND football!

KState gets the win!! I think I might like this new KState coach.
The Citadel beats Ga.Tech..how embarassing for them and the ACC
W.Va beats NCState another B12 upset.
Temple finishes off high scoring Maryland...who'd have thunk it.
Pitt hangs tough but loses to another high scoring juggernaut PSU 17-10
E.Mich beat Illinois...pretty embarassing for them and the B1G...see Ga.Tech
Va.Tech edges Furman...what's happened with Justin Fuente..he was hot hot hot...now not.
UCF is hammering Stanford 28-7 1st qtr..what's going on with Stanford?
BYU up on USC 17-10 ..not Kedon Slovis fault though he's 13-18 157yds and 1 TD.
So.Car giving the Tide a game ...for now. Tide leads 17-10.
Colorado in an OT game again..this time they lose to the Flyboys. Fly USAFA!

I’m not sure Stanford is aware of the forward pass as I watch this, maybe UCF does deserve its ring

For a change we seemed to be able to dominate the Hoosiers in Bloomington.Over 500 yds total offense. 200 yds passing and our defense really looks good. 51-10 but we really did dominate the game. Fields not quite as sharp today, 3 TDs passing and one rushing, but no interceptions. Dobbins and Teague also contributed just under 300 yard rushing, I am not complaining!

Looks like UCF is going to put at least 60 on Stanford today

UCF has upped its schedule. They now, and I stress NOW,have an argument to be included in the playoff discussion if they continue to win.

What is going on at Stanford. I thought this would be a close game. But at least they've shutout UCF in the 2nd half so far.

BYU and USC in quite a tussle out in Provo.
I see the Tide has taken control of the So. Car. game and are on cruise control.
A shocker taking shape up in E.Lansing where ASU continues to lead 3-0 in the 4th qtr.

I’m guessing and forgive me that even though UCF didn’t meet the criteria the past two years is as good as advertised in its schedule no matter what we have thought. We will down the road watch ND vs Stanford, USC vs Stanford and accordingly call them big games, as they have traditionally always been. Hmmm, maybe tradition has shifted and the outsiders are possibly exceptional and worthy of recognition
