Maryland has had great athletes and were very young the past couple of seasons, but they kept getting bitten by the injury bug bad. So far, they are healthy this year.

Impressive 1st half by LSU, Longhorns had some chances but a wide open receiver in the end zone dropped the ball. Then 3rd and 4th and goal after a turnover come up with nothing.

Alabama's offensive line must get better. They are not opening holes. In the first half against NMSU we could not move the ball on the ground. We were able to throw at will but not run. Everything worked in the 2nd half but we should have been able to blow this team off of the line and we couldn't.

Great game in Austin tonight, impressive performance by Joe Burrow. LSU looks like they belong in the top 3

Excellent game in Austin and Burrow is great but I had to put on close captioning when they interviewed Eddie O after the game so I could understand what he was saying.

I gotta say this Clemson is not as good as last year's version. But when your offense misses 13 passes against no one... You are in trouble.
Hell...our center snapped one off his own ass killing a drive!
Complete offensive ineptitude by the Aggies and I sure didn't expect that...

Am I the only one doing Pac12 After Dark tonight? USC giving Stanford fits. How about BYU coming back to drop the Vols to 0-2 on the year?

Stanford’s defensive backs are being abused and Stanford’s offense is about as painful to watch as Michigan’s.

USC is about to run away with this thing. Fresno and Minnesota are battling with FSU leading by 7. I'm still waiting for Washington and Cal to start (weather delay).

USC now blowing out Stanford. Minnesota driving trying to tie the game with under 2 minutes left. Still no word on the Huskies. That would be an awful late start time, but the Seahawks play at home tomorrow at 1pm.

I saw where Hurts had another good game and as expected didn't play much into the 2nd half. From the highlights I saw, he is looking very comfortable in the pocket and very accurate in his passing. Oklahoma didn't get tested yesterday but if their defense steps it up, they are going to be tough.
LSU seems to have found an offense and maybe lost their defense. That game turned into a scoring fest in the second half.
My,my, Michigan had an interesting game yesterday.

Looks like Coach Ryan Day has a 1,2 punch after all for this season. Fields wears #1 and Dobbins #2.Our offensive line with just one starter back from last year played great yesterday. It appears we are going to have an excellent defense. Life is good in Columbus this morning.:)

Kp, I have filed for trademarks rights to the 1/2 Punch line! In line with your comments on Hurts, I felt the same way with the game Joe Burrows put up against Texas last night. No doubt his best game since he transferred to LSU! Tom Herman is probably thinking the same thing this morning.:(

    Random thoughts:
L$U still has great DB's but their front 7 is NOTHING like years past.
And giving the opposition more plays... is going to wear them out that much faster.
Trevor Lawrence is NOT nearly as accurate downfield as everyone makes him out to be... but he sure does have some crazy good WR's to make it not matter. Several ridiculous catches against my boys.
Tenn: whoa boy is this season going to be "interesting".
UCLA loses again. What did they pay Chip?

LSU defenders, especially the DL seemed to spend more time on the ground with cramps and other various fake injuries to slow down our tempo.
As I said earlier the offense is really good or our defense is mediocre.

It was pretty harsh on the DCoord and his game plan and in game calls. Esp that 3rd and 17 call that Burrow nailed down the win for LSU. Lots of praise for the offense though.
