Well the Aggie D did it's job and we eeked out just enough offense to steal a W. No complaints for that but that QB injury really changes the trajectory of this team. OLine needs to gel yesterday since Calzada ain't a runner.

Longhorns getting slaughtered in the Hills of Arkansas. It's not even been a fair fight.

Both of our lines are being manhandled by the Hogs. It's a beat down no Texas fan expected to see, maybe a close loss where we play well, not this beat down

I will say that Casey Thompson has played very well since taking over for Hudson Card. Granted it's been in the football equivalent of garbage time, but still deserves to start against Rice next week.

I see that Iowa took care of Iowa State and looking good doing it. This might be the Hawkeyes year. They don't play either Ohio State or Michigan

Arkansas fans rush the field! SEC will fine them. They are also taunting with the Horns down sign, B12 will fine them for that!:rolleyes:

Maybe this should be in the Backroom, but I don't know if I have ever seen anything like this. Makes me wonder how it even happens.

Miami v App State game which Miami eked out a 2 point win 25 - 23

Look closely and you'll see a cat hanging on for it life and then dropping to the lower deck.

Announced they were wearing blue pants this morning. They have done this before for a night game on national TV.

Oregon upsets OSU, Texas A & M escapes in a squeaker as does Miami, Notre Dame. Gators get a fairly easy win but our forum is almost unreadable with the people who hate Mullen and the old adage that the most popular man on campus is the backup QB. I hate doing it but probably best for me not to read as it really gets to me the fair weather fans.

Watched most of the Miami and App State game, App State gave them all they could handle.

Michigan ran the ball well against a physical Washington defense but not going to beat the big boys if our passing game does not significantly improve.

Yeah I saw that but is there more to the story? It looks like they were torturing the cat or something after it dropped?

USC lost at home to Stanford, convincingly and the Utes lost for the first time to BYU in quite a few years. Both USC and Utah were ranked.

I imagine Oregon and Iowa will make big moves in the rankings this week. Doubt if Ohio State drops more than 4 or 5 slots, I won't be shocked if the Irish fall out of the top 10 even with the win.

As Bill noted regarding the Florida boards, Irish boards were very angry to read.

Interesting that Oregon played their TE at DE as well...

Oregon tight end DJ Johnson caught an 11-yard reception to convert a third down on the Ducks' final drive, and then recorded a sack on the last play of the game.

"We didn't have any bodies," Cristobal said. "You saw that. You saw DJ Johnson play some defensive end. He's a great one, he really is. Big game for Oregon, big game for the Pac-12 to come out at a place where I don't think they've lost many games here at home, during a regular season in a long, long time."

I just saw that the USC kicker was ejected on the opening kickoff vs Stanford last night for targeting!! That has to be a first in college football history! Trojans went on to loss, add another angry fanbase to the list!

What a crazy day. I'll take my win and slink off into the shadows quietly...

Have to say I was very surprised at how well Oregon ran the ball on the Buckeyes.
Was not surprised at what Arkansas did. I took them in the pickem... Up til Friday when enough articles convinced me they didn't have enough offense to pull it off. Stupid me!!!
    :p
