Well Terry is correct. I think the SEC defenses stayed in Tuscaloosa, and Baton Rouge. I am embarrassed.
Maybe it's because in the past. throwing punches got players suspended for a game. (non OSU players that is.)
I just remembered that unless OU can get into the top 14 in the BS (currently 17) then they won't be eligible for an at-large. In the Harris (16) they will pick up spots from NIU (15) and ASU (13) but I doubt Oklahoma St. (6), Missouri (5) and Ohio St. (2) drop enough for OU to take advantage. In the Coaches (15) they will pick up a spot from ASU (13) but again, Oklahoma St. (6), Missouri (5) and Ohio St. (2) probably won't drop far enough to help OU. I'm not sure this game will give them enough in the computers to make them eligible. There would be some howling at that! #1 FSU vs. #2 Auburn - BS NCG Rose gets MSU vs. Stanford Fiesta gets Baylor Orange picks to replace FSU, takes Clemson Sugar picks to replace Auburn, takes Bama Orange picks first of the at-large, probably takes Ohio St. Sugar picks second of the at-large, if OU isn't available, would they take Oklahoma St. instead of Oregon? Not likely. If OU is available, they probably take OU. Fiesta "picks" the last at-large, and gets UCF. BS NCG - FSU vs. Auburn - intriguing matchup Rose - MSU vs. Stanford - good ol' fashioned slobber knocker, between P12 and B10? Yep. Fiesta - Baylor vs. UCF - not a good day to be a knight Sugar (a) - Bama vs. OU - OU would be in serious trouble Sugar (b) - Bama vs. Oregon - Sweet! Sugar (c) - Bama vs. Oklahoma St. - OSU would be in serious trouble Orange - Clemson vs. OSU - would this turn into a good game?
