between the two teams, one of them has a good offense and one of the best defenses in college football, the other is Oklahoma.
oh and Oklahoma is playing a top 25 team tonight and maybe a top 10 team next week in Baylor...Utah playing a mediocre Colorado team and a a good Oregon team not as highly ranked as Baylor.
Yikes... The Aggies picked tonight to play their worst game of the year... and LSU plays out of their minds. I guess that game last year did stick in their throats. Mond is "credited" with 3 INT's but really only 1 was truly on him. We for some reason throw a hail Mary on 4th and 30 into the endzone... And then one of our WR's who is obviously about to transfer actually leans back from a ball right under his chin letting it go by him to a DB. I say he's transferring, because I wouldn't let his sorry ass on the bus after that play. Crazy game... nothing the Maroon did worked, and everything the Kitties did was perfect.
Yeah I think the amount of talent in Baton Rouge along with a chip on their shoulder from last year made it some what of a foregone conclusion they would show up and bring their A game tonight against the Ag's. Utes getting the 45-15 win tonight helps them stay in the mix for that 4th slot. FWIW, I want Utah to get in, I like their coach and they are a team that has built what they have without a bunch of 4 and 5 star players...they are sort of the Wisconsin of the Pac12, IMHO.
Miami of Ohio would beat us in a bowl game... They can sure wear a stupid ugly chain around their necks and dance a jig for a turnover, I’ll give them that...
Exactly, home of the Charmin soft defense. OU does have Jalen, Utah has Moss. One of them will be playing on Sundays.
Felipe Franks.. done at Florida, has entered the portal. Why do I think he's going to be disappointed with his options.
Felipe needs another year in college to shake off the rust. He's not getting drafted by the NFL with so many questions. With him at Qb we probably lost at Ky.... but it's also possible a good game from him could have done Georgia in because of his physicality and ability to run.
Lol...they have lived on the transfer QB haven't they! But they have a true freshman, Spencer Rattler, who was the #1 rated 5 star Pro Style QB who is likely to be the guy, although they have another guy who was not highly rated, Tanner Mordecai who is in the mix. Right now they do not have a QB in the 2020 class. So there's room for a transfer!
That fake punt is inexplicable...I’m not sure who had the brain fart on that one... coach or player. I doubt Felipe is the type of talent that OU is used to.... but maybe Riley is a true QB whisperer.
We are entering that period where players who are not going to return to their current teams in 2020 will announce that they are entering the Portal as Felipe Franks did over the weekend. Also we are entering that period where players who are going to the NFL decide to either play or not play in their teams bowl game. We've never had a player opt out of a playoff game, but there have been an increasing number of players who have elected to not play in one of the non-playoff bowl games.
I hope this young man has a wonderful life after college The full story: On senior day, Michigan State's Josh Butler will not carry his grief alone
More than 60 players entered the Transfer Portal yesterday!!! Including... More than five dozen players hit transfer portal on Monday alone
