not exactly a defensive struggle, but Alabama's O looks to have this wrapped up.

Nope no defense at all. It was ugly but it was Auburn so I'll take it

Baylor wins but Bryce Petty gets a concussion. They need him badly for the final with Kansas State. The game ended up being a shootout, it will be interesting to see how the committee ranks them this week.

I'm guessing there is a good chance Oregon takes #1 from Alabama,

    1. Oregon
    2. Alabama
    3. FSU
    4. TCU
    5. Ohio State
    6. Baylor
    7. Arizona
    8. Miss State
    9. Mich State
    10. Kansas State.

The top 7 all have 1 more game. So next weekend is win or your out weekend for those teams.

Tennessee both won and lost at the same time yesterday. We beat Vandy to become bowl eligible but we lost several key players. Our #1 running back, in jersey number and performance, Jalen Hurd was lost in the 1st quarter due to concussion symptoms. Our running game never recovered.

A win is a win but we are not looking good for whatever bowl opponent we get.

Tom, Tennessee is getting better. I don't see them backsliding. Congrats on a bowl-eligible season.

AP poll is out...guess which conference has 3 top 10 teams? If you guessed B12 you'd be right. But then we play flag football and no defense in the B12 so the voters must all be commies. :)
