Well the Utes are now my favorite team, I want them to run the table and get to the CFP! They got the impressive win last night in the Desert at Arizona.

Washington lost to Colorado last night, hasn't been a great year for either the Huskies or Wazzu, who BTW won a shootout with Oregon State 54-53!! Only thing left is the Apple Cup to make the season meaningful for either team.

Hawaii won, and has the inside track to the Mtn West Championship game with Boise State. Big season for the rainbows.

"yes Georgia got away with a couple of PI calls as well."
SEC officials have been inconsistent all year on PI calls..... sometimes ignoring the obvious and then sometimes calling the ticky tack.... and don't get me started on their interpretation of offensive line holding.

Smart is almost a version of Muschamp except he has exceptional talent to work with. If it comes down to his play calling making the difference for the win I'm not sold on his abilities.... especially in the biggest games.

Clemson is going to make it through the entire season without having played a team currently ranked in the Top 25. Only at the end will they receive a bona fide test. For some reason I just find that incredible.

George, I actually used this argument against Central Florida last year.

I did a little research. The pre-season ranking of Clemson's schedule was only #66 so they had little to fear coming in. I'm not comparing the Irish to Clemson but they currently have five opponents in the Top 25.

In all fairness, it's not Clemson's fault that FSU, Miami, Va. Tech, N. Carolina would all bomb, but the ACC has always been a one or two team show. Also Texas A&M and So. Carolina had bad years, but the bottom line is the same.

I wouldn't say the Aggies had a bad year, but our schedule was too much for a team this young.
    (We have 6 seniors).

Sorry Scott, I should have said unranked in the CFP rankings.

I think that Auburn game will say a lot about Alabama in 2019. Still one of the better college football teams. Injuries though have eaten into their status as top dog this year. But as I have said before, due to the incredible job recruiting that Saban has done, even with the injuries Bama is still a top team. I doubt if Ohio State or LSU could survive the injuries that Bama has endured without a equal drop off in on the field play.

True but that bug can and does hit everyone. Don’t know if I can find the link but an analysis showed my Boilers as the most injury affected team in the NCAA. Not the impact that Bama has but hell, we were hoping for a good year and a nice bowl.

I can assure you LSU without Burrow is a FAR different animal.

Terry, no excuses for Alabama. Everyone has to deal with injuries. Alabama's defense is not as good as it needs to be. Alabama also became too dependent on the passing game and became one dimensional so when we need a strong running game, we don't have one established. The good news is that Auburn's offense is not very good but the bad news is they have a good defense. We'll see how this goes.
