    Lincoln last night:

Parents should have named him Nixon rather than Lincoln.

Yeah I wonder if he considers this a move up?

    I think Terry hit it:
He gets the built in prestige of USC, without the murderer's row the SEC will be to get to the playoff.

I have no doubt that Lincoln will have a dynamic offense and recruit a ton of skill talent very quickly to USC. I wonder if his OU defense will follow him though. Pete Carroll had some salty defenses to go along with those Reggie Bush/Matt Leinhart teams.

Well the Gators got our guy. Billy Napier, the only one we talked to I believe.

And the GatorCountry posters while not unanimous was very largely in favor of this hire.

Hopefully better times ahead for Gators.

Napier should turn out to be a good hire but not overnight. Gator fans will need to be patient to allow him time to build up the roster to the level of Georgia.

Also I see that Bob Stoops is going to come out of the Boothe to coach the Sooners in whatever bowl they end up with. Barry Alvarez did the same thing and I think he won the game.

Maybe the lack of a PI call on this near the end of the game play caused Lincoln to say “I’m out of here”.

That play not only shafts OK but also those teams jumped by OK. St. after their "victory."

I wonder how long Riley or his agent have been working with USC. They didn't contact him after the OKState game and just offer him the job. He had to know for quite a while that he was going to leave OU. I'm guessing the announcement would have been delayed if he'd won the game, and was headed to the B12 Championship game. OU still had a shot at the CFP, not a great one but if they had won and and were sitting at 12-1 as B12 Champions they probably would have jumped over Notre Dame and taken that 4th slot if it opened up due to losses by Cincy and Alabama.

And for the record, the SEC shorts sucked this week so don't bother watching it!

I didn't bitch about this last week - but I've had time to get mad about SEC refs again...
