Don I've got a question for you. If Braxton Miller come back healthy next year, who's the starting QB? How impressive was Barrett last night? Night game on national TV against a top 10 team and he just shredded them. He's very powerful in short yardage situations too.

    KP,

Poor Ragland. I had been up since 4 and running wide open all day. I fell asleep before half time of the Bama-LSU game and am getting caught up on everything.

The real SECCG looks like it's next Saturday, eh?

    Corey,
Alabama/Miss St. will be a biggy but it is still a single elimination tournament for Alabama. I did get lucky getting these tickets last summer. Who knew MSU would be this good? I read that the LSU player was from Muscle Shoals so maybe they were friends from high school days since Ragland played in Huntsville.

    Gipper,
Good question and no concrete answer. Urban says Miller will be our QB.

I think there are many fans, including myself, who think J. T. is an overall better QB.

He might not be as shifty in the rushing game, but he still can score points rushing. He seems to be fearless and not so injury prone.

Overall. he has a better delivery than Braxton as well.

Yeah LSU has a couple of local boys on their team. It's quite possible. I'm surprised by the number of friends my son has made locally doing the summer camp circuit.

    Yeah, congratulations Don...

As far as Braxton vs. JT...I have heard some third hand stuff that sounds very possible to me...mainly that with that shoulder and what happened to it, Braxton Miller will never throw another football.

I sincerely hope that is wrong.

If it is true, then I hope the kid makes it as a wideout or a running back.

Interesting situation could emerge in the B12. Now that TCU has beaten KState they are #5 in the AP to Baylor's #6 and likely something similar when the Committee's rankings come out. If both teams win out, Baylor will be the B12 Champion but TCU will be the higher ranked team and most likely Playoff candidate. But Baylor beat TCU head to head...of course it was a narrow victory and at home...but still. Baylor fans will not be happy.

TCU played Samford and SMU, but they diid easily beat Minnesota so there is that. But bottom line is that Baylor beat them head to head. That will be hard to swallow if they both win out and TCU gets the call.

BTW, there is supposedly a growing sentiment in Norman after the Baylor blowout that maybe Stoops has lost his fire and should consider moving on to something else. Thank for the memories Bob, but all we really remember is this years losses! :)
