pick 6 makes it 35-14 Jayhawks at the half. Most points Kansas has scored all year. How much money has Texas pissed away in buy outs since Mack Brown?

    TOK,

It is beyond stunning, Terry. Team seems in total disarray.

Well we put up a fight but in the end I think nagging injuries to an already limited QB finally caught us. Thank goodness Kiffin is a dick and kept going for 4th downs...

Texas ties it up 49-49 with 22 seconds left in the 4th.

Texas dug down deep and we are going to OT 49 - 49.

KU went for it on deep in their own territory with a terrible play and didn't make it and it looked like Texas was going to get an easy score instead they throw a bad pick in the end zone to give it back to KU.
Looked like game over, but KU goes 3 and out, a mediocre punt and a 25 yd return by Texas and we are back in business. Texas QB throws a nice TD

On to OT, right now I think Texas will win in the 1st OT. I think KU is out of gas.

I thought with the quick score by Texas I was right, KU out of gas and no way were they, KU, going to be able to answer.

But Texas gets a stupid unsportsmanlike penalty and KU has the short field and gets the score and decides to go for 2, coach must have felt his team had only 1 more play and rolled the dice and hits the 2 point play for the win.

Can't remember a lower point for the program in the last 10 years

I thought the PF call seemed pretty cheap. Spinning the ball after catching a TD pass does not seem like an excessive celebration.

Agree. In the NFL, spinning the ball at an opponent will cost you 15 but that is not what happened here.

Understand how you feel, right there with you.

And I don't understand why a simple act like spinning the football is a unsportsmanlike penalty in College Football.

Texas and the B12 is sort of like a man still sharing a home with his recently divorced ex wife. She’ll still screw him but in a different and more painful way.

I saw that Bill, and I understand. That kind of performance from a Florida team is unimaginable. My comments about Alabama are all using "winning the National Championship" as a yardstick. Alabama does not have anywhere near the problems that some other teams are encountering and I realize that, but my opinion is that the team has not performed in a way that would indicate to me that they can win a National Championship. o_O

Uh, 59 straight unanswered points doesn't matter? OK. Seriously, Kyle, I understand your angst, holding this team to the standard set by the recent great teams. In my opinion, a team isn't defined as great until the season is over. At this point, people are calling Georgia's defense great. If they don't go undefeated and win the national championship, no one will care how good their defense was. I believe that at this point in the season, Alabama clearly is one of the 3 best teams in the country. The other two are, IMO, Georgia and Ohio State, and one of them has lost a game.

Re: spinning the ball. In college you can't do anything with the ball except drop it or give to a ref... It's just how it is. No spiking, no dunking over goal post, no spinning.

The coaches and players know the rules. Agree or disagree, you flaunt the rules, you pay the price. In that context, the penalty was justified.
