Purdue pulls it off! Fans rush the field. Big10 West has almost everybody with 2 losses. Huge Wisconsin win, offense, offense and more offense to go with their solid defense. Cincinnati holds off a bad Tulsa team, they aren't moving up into the MSU slot. A&M takes care of Auburn.
Oh my, Gators unbelievable bad tonight. Trail S Carolina 30-10 at halftime. This is very likely the end of the Mullen era at Florida. S. Carolina has over 300 yards of offense at halftime.
What is going on with Florida? Big favorite against S. Carolina but down 30–10 at the half. Stunning.
You want a rough first half check out S. Carolina and Florida. Gators trail 30-10 and S. Carolina has over 300 yards of offense at halftime and a defensive score just before halftime. And we were a 21 point favorite.
LSU DL is beating the Tide OL. Bryce Young not getting much time Robinson 11 carries for 15 yds? That can't be right?
The Tide survives, it was their defense that won the game. Longhorns getting beat in Ames, 24-7 by Iowa State. Longhorn offense is rudderless
Alabama won but there is no way we beat Arkansas and Auburn much less Georgia. It could be worse, we could have lost.tonight.
Yeah I thought LSU was going to score after Price made that long run but your defense bowed up and shut them down. I think you beat Arkansas and Auburn, but right now I'm not sure you have the offense to beat that Georgia defense
Washington’s coach Jimmy Lake is a complete idiot. They were down 24-16 with a 1:30 left facing a 4th down and 10 on their own 10. Given that so little time remained, the obvious call is to go for it as they were down by a a TD and a 2pt conversion. Instead, Washington attempted to punt but the ball was hiked a foot over the punter’s head resulting in a safety. They then attempted an onside kick which was recovered by Oregon who ran out the clock. Assuming the safety was done intentionally, did the Washington HC think that he had a better chance winning by foregoing going for it on 4th and 10 and instead thought he had a better chance winning by recovering two onside kicks and scoring each time with so little time left on the clock? If I were the AD, he would be fired tonight.
Back from the Aggie game and it seems I missed a LOT. Quick synopsis of my game... Dare I saw WRECKING CREW again? They did something I never thought we could... both rushed/sacked Nix, AND kept him from running loose! Offense was hindered by at least 5 easy drops on passes Calzada hit perfectly. That LSU/Bama game was insane... kp, I know you're not happy with the offense, but your D really rose up and saved the day. I have NO idea what happend to Florida. We destroyed SCAR two weeks ago and I expected the Gators to run over them easily. PURDUE! WTF... I was so close to picking them... I shoulda called Stu for reverse advice. I would definitely be in ScoFro's corner if I was a Neb fan. I think he's right, they are close to being a much better team. Looks like the Irish took care of business. No more run by fruitings from the jiffer.
Terry... don't look. Iowa St fans win the internet on this day. If you guys don't know what this means, you are missing a doozy!
One thing that stood out in the final minutes of the LSU/Alabama game when LSU was threatening...their QB seemed to hold the ball like he had 10 seconds to throw the ball. Of course likely the Tide defense had all of his receivers covered, but geez a couple of his sacks he just should have unloaded earlier. Also...this from CBS Sports WR David Bell, Purdue: We're running out of words to compliment Bell, one of the great receivers in college football this year. Against yet another top-five opponent, Bell exploded again with 217 yards receiving on 11 catches with a touchdown to key an upset over the Spartans. The performance joins his sensational day against then-No. 2 Iowa, when Bell posted 11 catches for 240 yards and a touchdown. Purdue's offense is solid, but Bell is a freak of nature. Considering the role he plays in this offense, he should be on the short list for the Biletnikoff Award.
