Maybe Trump does need to flip flop on where he wants the votes counted..... or not.

Biden already leads the popular vote by 3 million but in a state that is only 74% counted he is winning the vote count by 65% to 32%. So his margin over Trump in the national popular vote stands to get a big boost when California's votes are finally counted.

So.... by all means count them in Az. and in Nv. but please for the love of God stop counting them everywhere else. LOL

All those college educated folks living on the sidewalks of LA are voting like crazy. Meanwhile in honor of Dave, baseball is changing their rules so that the team that gets the most hits wins. Runs don't count.

Biden sitting at 264, I can't imagine at this point that Trump has even a prayer of pulling it out.

There are 57 EC votes out there right now. PA 20, NC 15, Ga 16 and NV 6 Trump needs them all, Biden only needs 1 of them.

Terry, the 264 number includes Arizona, which to my knowledge (I could be wrong) has been called by only Associated Press and Fox News, who both use the same polling service. Most outlets are using 253 for Biden. It’s far from over.

All of those dastardly mail in voters are really raining on Trump's parade..... it's un-American not to stand in line with a massive crowd in a pandemic and then mail in your vote instead. What a bunch of ******** as I am hearing Trump speak now. Any of you who voted by mail have just had your votes invalidated by a mad man who is right now tearing down our democracy like no one in history as I type this.

Most incredibly wacked out speech ever given by a sitting president...... very unbelievable. Scary as hell this guy has his finger on the nuclear trigger. He is certifiable.

He certainly has the legal right to challenge if an honest election was held but he also has to present proof of his claims. Guess we shall see if he has proof or whether he is ranting.

Dave millions of people stood in line to vote, so far I have not read about voting in person being a super spreader event. BTW of those millions a huge number of them were democrats.

I voted by mail because I don't like to stand in lines.

Republican poll watchers are having a difficult time witnessing the voting in Philadelphia. Even with a court order they are being kept at a distance that makes it impossible to verify that legal votes are being counted. Other than keeping witnesses to supplying proof of illegality, I can't think of why the Sec. of St. is being to obstructive.
Meanwhile Bob, I've read that turnout in Wisc. was 89% or at least ballots representing 89% of registered voters were counted. Does that seem likely to you?

    Mike,

That number is incorrect. Wi has same day voter registration so the number of registered voters before the election is not the same as the number of eligible voters.

Fact check: Wisconsin did not have more votes than registered voters

71% of eligible voters in Wi voted on election day which is high but not the highest ever. In some small red towns in northern Wisconsin, percentages reached 90%.

I think the figure you cited was derived by taking the total number of voters and comparing it to the total number of registered voters on record as of 11/1 rather than all eligible voters.

Wi enacted a photo ID requirement for voting during the Walker era and mail in voting is limited to absentee voting by which you have to submit an application with a photo ID before you receive ballot so Wi does not have the issue present in other states where ballots were mailed out to voters listed on voting rolls that may have not kept up to date. I feel more confident about the integrity of the election process in Wi than I did when I lived in Mi because of Walker’s measures.

Georgia and Pa. are like most states in that they do not mail out unsolicited ballots to registered voters:
Absentee and Mail Voting Policies in Effect for the 2020 Election

"At its core, the President's speech was an attack on our democracy and the legal voting systems long established in every one of our states and territories. The President screaming that the polls and voting were fraudulent -- without any evidence of fraud -- was the political equivalent of someone falsely screaming "Fire!" in a crowded movie theater. The goal was to create confusion and undercut the outcome of the election.

Trump falsely claimed again that he could not possibly lose an honest election. "If you count the legal votes, I win the election," he said. His argument was simple: votes for him are "legal" and the mail-in votes for Biden in battleground states (which Trump noted fall heavily in favor of Vice President Biden) are not."

Well it is looking like Terry is right. Georgia is in Biden's camp now by less than 1,000. Georgia however still has military ballots to count an it might flip back.

Looking bleak for Trump right now.

I heard an interesting comment from a speaker yesterday day. He said this was a contest between love and hate. That Trump voters are voting for him because they love him and that Biden voters are voting for Biden because the hate Trump.

A whole lot of truth to that. Look at MCG he voted against Trump, makes one post after the other about how bad Trump is but I don't recall hearing much about Biden from him.

A really astute observation in my opinion.

Partially true Bill and yesterday's off the rails rant by madman Trump against our democratic process was the best example yet of why the Trump experiment has been a disaster for our country.
His assertion that most of the mail in ballots are Biden supporting democrats is either part of his overall devious strategy to invalidate those votes or it was an incredible show of ignorance to what has been going on for months in the Covid pandemic..... with him mocking the wearing of masks and politicizing voting in person vs. mail-in ballots.
