There have been a LOT of negative news items about Urban, not all of them off the field.
I've heard some things said by players that make you wonder if he's even close to right in the head...

I wonder if Urban will ever coach again. It never seemed to me that the NFL would be a good fit for Urban. College is where his style works. With all the stuff that has come out this year, I would think big time programs would not want to take the chance on him. I'm sure he doesn't need to coach for the money. He does know how to build a college program that's for sure.

I was one of his biggest boosters on here and always wanted to see him at the helm in South Bend. I was wrong.

I think he liked being a talking head on TV and would like to go back there. He's going with a lot bigger bank balance thanks to the Jags.

I wonder if they will try to fire him for cause?
    Morals, player abuse, etc?

My guess is he will slide back to being a TV football analyst for Fox for a year or so but given his success as a head coach in college football, I am sure there are programs out there who would hire him. Today’s scandals have a short shelf life in the internet age.

I am not so sure he will be hired back as a TV analyst right away. This is a really negative situation for him.

You may be right re the TV job Bill as his reputation took a major hit, but if he wants to get back into coaching, my guess is that a major school would be willing to hire a PR team to sanitize the path for hiring Meyer as Louisville did with Petrino.

I am not sure he should get back into coaching. The last two college jobs he had, Florida and Ohio State, he left for medical reasons after about 5 years. Then he had this debacle.

He’ll probably end up on TV again somewhere.

No surprise that his daughter would defend Urban.

Saw that Terry. I don't think she is going to get much in the way of public support though.

Most of the Midwest got hit by high winds yesterday. In Wisconsin, it hit the mid 60s in the afternoon but by evening temps dropped to the low 30s with 50-70 mph winds. That type of change perhaps explains why this map looks like this.

    Big Shocker here...I see lawsuits!!

The Jacksonville Jaguars fired former coach Urban Meyer for cause, sources told ESPN on Saturday, with the intention of not paying him the remaining four years of his contract.

A source within the organization said the Jaguars' reasons for withholding the remaining guarantees are not tied to one specific incident -- but rather a cumulation of instances that Jacksonville's officials believe justified the firing.

I bet the real "culmination of incidents" is the scoreboard every Sun. In a sport full of players that have all sorts of criminal incidents it's ludicrous the lack of tolerance for coaches. I say Urban gets a pretty hefty settlement.
