    Sid, you and I are in complete agreement. There is a rule needed, but the way this one is enforced stinks.

    And ever since the rule was passed I have observed a lot of lousy calls. The NCAA needs to revisit the rule and write it in a meaningful way.

    And enforce it in a meaningful way.

    Bill, I agree completely.

    Terry, you are onto something. Rewrite the rule to describe specific gestures which are violations, like the NFL rule. Going to knees; using the ball as a prop; bringing hand(s) or fingers to any part of the body; gazing at the crowd.......what else can we think of? :idea:

    Hey Terry, as long as he makes deals to bring in the kind of money he does to the SEC I don't have to agree with all his positions. :)
