Terry, Thanks for the link. My close friend went through the exact same thing in the early 90s in Fort Wayne. He was the president of the local sports corporation and the prime mover of the effort to build a stadium and bring an A-level minor league team to the city. They got it done. Good luck in the referendum. I hope your effort is rewarded. It will be a great addition to your community.
Thanks Sid....it has been a long struggle basically since the beginning of the year against very stiff opposition. Our recent polling data is very discouraging..... Here is our Facebook page.... https://www.facebook.com/PortCityBaseball We are planning a trip in early Sept to Dayton, OH to visit Fifth-Third Field home of the Dayton Dragons....over 850 consecutive sellouts and named the professional sports franchise of the year. They have never hosted a game in the downtown Dayton stadium that was not a sell-out! Perhaps as we get this thing rolling, you could arrange for me to contact with your buddy....I'd love his insights....
OK, Stu.....using the 110 formula you gave me: 63% = C .25, S .25, I .12 37% = F .25, G .13 So I'll let this roll for awhile and see what happens..... Any early indicators the 1st few months I should be leary of?
I really like that allocation. But please remember that past performance does not reflect future performance.
Agree with Stu husker, solid portfolio. Also, good advice from Jo'co, don't sweat the daily fluctuations, but review and rebalance periodically, e.g., end of each calendar quarter,
Ok, so I'll let this ride for 5 years, and if everything goes a planned, I'll buy everyone a steak dinner in say.....July of 2017
