Thanks, Tim. Right now, the Wolverine blogosphere is predominantly in the "Fire Richrod" camp and is involved in cyber duel to the death with a small "Rich-Rod-is-Trying-to-Clean-Up Lloyd's-Mess" contingent. The funny thing is that the split seems to be generational with younger fans and students being more inclined to still strongly support RR while most fans who grew up in the Fritz through Bo era advocating that if we have to endure another losing season to get rid of RichRod, so be it. Our boards makes the Rockne site on ND Nation during tough times seem like an oasis of civility.
I feel your pain Bob... I'm just now climbing out of 10 years in the abyss. Hopefully RR isn't your "Franphony"... and you won't wander that long.
Bobda, what is the relationship of Lloyd Carr to the program these days? In the change that brought in RR, Carr was supposedly in the Anti-Les Miles camp. Do you expect Carr to have any influence in who would replace RR should be not be retained after this season? Is Les Miles still considered a candidate? How about Harbaugh, have people forgotten or forgiven his remarks of a few years ago?
Sid, C'mon, allow me a little poetic license... Terry, Lloyd has retired from all university positions. Our present AD played for Bo and probably would seek Carr's advice but will be the one calling the shots. I strongly doubt if Miles will ever be offerred a coaching position at Michigan. I think it unlikely that Harbaugh would return to Michigan. I suspect his next move will be to the NFL. If RR is fired, I wish they would try again with Schiano who rejected us last time. But, you rarely see any employer again go after a candidate who previously turned down a job offer.
