Jesus f***ing Christ... Can't you win without whining?

I know you haven't lost a game on the field in more than 20 years, there is always an excuse to you...

But you can't even win with class...

The teams were chippy, the mouths were going after every play. Some got away with it and others didn't. OU got called for a hold on an early drive and then someone must have banned holding calls because BOTH teams got away with take down holds on several occassions. It went both ways...

Just take the NC and STFU.

Hey...I'm not whining about anything but I am dissecting the refs a little.

On the OU hold it was about time because before that I saw an OU lineman get away with an obvious hold on a pass rusher not called.

The Gators won and that was great but it doesn't mean I have to agree with all the calls/no-calls made.

Hey....who started this "refs were awful topic" anyway?

    Chill.....
    :p

Oh they were awful for both teams. The subject is about that subject. The officials being awful for BOTH teams.

All you wanna talk about is the Gators getting cheated....again..

    Rick,

Jesus does not object to modest displays of showboating.

Let me see if I have this straight Corey. You start a topic harping on the referees. Dave makes a comment and you go into this tirade?

I'll tell you this Corey I don't see where you can make the above statement.

I've been on MCG pretty hard sometimes, but I really don't see where he's done anything to have what you dumped on him above.

I made a joke that you may have Gator envy. The more you push crap like this makes me wonder if that's not right.

And we'll take the NC and keep it thank you. It was well earned.

Maybe so, Corey, but football Jesus believes BDR's "objective observation" is actually subjective and thinks Florida, USC, and Texas should be ranked higher than Utah.

These are the officials that Clemson regularly contends with.
They were no different than expected.

We had ACC refs at the Las Vegas Bowl. They suh-diddly-ucked.

Bobda - don't be making fun of Jesus. He's more powerful than you might think.

RE the flag on Louis Murphy for signalling a "1st down". I'm watching the Sun Sports replay tonight and what do I see early in the 1st quarter ... a Sooner WR signalling a 1st down after he makes a reception. But, guess what ...... no flag.

    LOL .... S(ch)tooped, again!!

Careful Gaterz....we are "whining" when we point out those disparities in officiating.

Seems the ACC guys were bent on being hard on Florida for misconduct type penalties while leaving Ok pretty much untouched on those. How does the Ok Db get away with pulling on Harvin's leg and dragging him backwards after he is already down? Seems inexcusable to me.

I don't see that as being evenly called.

Watching the repaly now .... and that facemask by Harris on Demps was nasty. I'm sorta glad Tebow took the opportunity to punish Harris in this game.

The whole officiating things gets very tiring.

Corey starts a topic about how bad the officials were. Even handed bad but bad.

Then MCG and Gaterz chime in agreeing they were bad but against Florida.

You know what all three of you are full of it. This game was called even handed and it was called well enough. Did they miss some calls, no doubt but you know what if they had called a lot more fouls all three of you would have been complaining about them being flag happy.

There was not that much wrong with these guys, they called enough personal fouls to let everyone know they would be called and keep the game under control. Then they let them play football.

I personally don't see the a problem with this group of officials.

I think I might like to throw a flag on all three of you.

    Just saying.

I wasn't even drinking last night and I don't remember any PF or unsportsmanlike calls against Ok except for the flagrant facemask that kept Demps from scoring.

Now that's my memory....maybe yours is better and you know the actual count both ways.

Ahhhhh, that's more like it. That's the Skybox we have all come to love. Dave is pissing and moaning over how the refs screwed Florida. Corey is stirrin the pot. ... and Bill's firing back at both.

Don't make me start locking topics.

Heck....Florida won...it's over....and OU was sent packing back to Norman.

    I got no beefs.

Here is an interesting article on the refs who did the game:

Hey, did anybody catch the Gator Bowl this year?

BTW, and it was a great hit, the OU receiver that got hammered on that 1st drive? When he was trying to recover from that hit, about 3 Gator players we're pointing and taunting at him
