    8) Michael Irvin stole some sunglasses?????.....Oh My....what a disaster!!!

    Give him the death penalty!!!!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK....does that make the so-called Detroit Piston fan-base a bit more wretched when they punch players from other teams or throw beer on them and foul-mouth taunt them???.....all 17,000 of them???

Great analogy....quiet apropo and reallly "connected" to the fact that the NBA fANS IN DETROIT are without a doubt now and forever the sorriest bucch of classless fans in any sport.

The Gonz............I see the Pistons in the rear view mirror......their season is done......they didn't even win the Eastern Conference

The Gonz...a fan of the Eastern Conference Champions Miami Heat!!! :p

I think the problem was not the sun glasses but the dope pipe with marijuana residue.

The nice thing is that the police had jail garb matching the orange color of the Hurricanes jersies. My guess is that this is the color of choice for the convict population, who probably have a cultural affinity for a gangster program like Miami's.

Clearly, you just a little too thick to appreciate the irony: a fan of a college football program that set the gold standard for criminality and academic corruption talking about the decorum of others.

P.S. Since you have been on this board for eons, you might take the time to ask someone to show you how to link articles and pictures correctly.

The first contact in the incident in Detroit occurred when Artest went into the stands and started attacking a fan who had nothing to do with throwing the beer. In Detroit we react when neighbors get attacked by large thugs.
In the end the league action against the players demonstrated that the real problem was what they had done. I admit it takes some intelligence to see what the problem was. I understand why you just don't get it.

Congragulations Bobda....what ever the f#%# your name is your better and linking articles and pictures than my father...

and you can only talk about the hurricanes football program when we are talking about two very different sports and leagues..... The NCAA and the NBA

so since you have been around for eons, along with the rest of the old timers here I think you should know how to keep it on the subject that we were talking and try not to avoid it ok buddy...

The Canes may have had some "unclassy" players but guess what we won 5 championships and Have the most NFL first round draft picks and players from one school= NFL U, and you can read my signature everytime I post just incase you forget

    Great arguement Little zoo
Just so we're clear, Miami's football players may lack class but they've won championships.
The Pistons lack class but their championships are irrelavent.

ND THE MOST DOMINANT COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAM IN HISTORY.

Well let me see Junior just what the topic is. Oh yeah, the Heat and the Pistons and the Heat are so much better because they beat the Pistons this year. But the Pistons have history on their side don't they?

You don't like that but you do like to brag about the Canes history of Championships. Well let's go with your current theme that only the most recent count.

In the most recent College football season the Canes were third best in the State of Florida. Behind the Gators and the Noles.

Seems you like to throw the BS but don't like it when it bounces back.

I'll leave College Basketball out of it for the moment.

    Excuse me..

<r>Gator Bill...... did you just say what you think I said.. that the gators were a better football team than miami last year??? Is this a joke??? do you watch college football, The Gators were a horrible team last season especially since you played such "great" (bad) teams in the SEC, How about you barely escaping Vanderbilt and Iowa, where there were two horrible calls in which were in the gators favor, Excuse me Miami was a much better team than the Gators last season. Miami and the Gators had a 9-3 record but we went to a much better bowl than you went to, and the most recent time they played was in the 2004 peach bowl and what happened there??? O yea the gators once again got killed<br/>
    <br/>
Need I remind you of Brock Berlin doing the gator chomps in your face??<br/>

Did I miss something? I seem to remember that it was Miami that got absolutely destroyed by LSU, they didn't even belong on the same field with LSU. Plus I think they lost the fight after the game, got their butts kicked.

:D Let me repeat the topic......MIAMI HEAT BEAT AN ARROGANT AND UNSIGHTLY DETROIT PISTONS........emphasis added

MIAMI HEAT IS GOING TO THE NBA FINALS

Our fans do not throw beer on visiting players or taunt them with foul language...........Detroit fans have lock on that scheme..earning them the most hooliganistic and downtrodden fans in the entire gamut of professional sports of any type known in the USA....never happened before.

Ok.......we are looking forward to the Dallas Mavericks.....a tough foe with three 7 footers in their squad.......Heat will have a hard time with this matchup.

Detroit is old news.....they are done and out

Yes Junior I think you heard what I typed. Florida was the best team in Florida last year. We beat FSU, you lost to FSU and at the end of the season the Gators were ranked higher than Miami and FSU.

Ant that LSU that you lost to twice in the same game, the game and the fight, beat you 40-3 as I remember and they had to come from behind at home to beat the Gators in the 4th quarter.

Berlin doing the Gator Chomp, big deal! As I recall he left Gainesville for Miami because he couldn't win the starting job for Florida but had it handed to him by Miami.

So let him chomp all he wants, remember he only became a Cane because he couldn't cut it in Gainesville.

Senior, the fans you are describing for the Pistons sound an awful lot like Hurricane fans. Are you sure you aren't describing what goes on at the Orange Bowl?

Little G, if you want to play in the big leagues, get your spelling and grammar straightened out. The correct word in your signature is "dominant", not dominate. Doesn't Pop help you with those things?

I'm sure the G & g boyz are more than a little chagrined at the endless parade of Hurricane misdeeds off the field. What law abiding citizen wouldn't be embarassed by such sophomoric behavior?

However they must keep up the brave front as loyal fans, justifying the high crimes and misdemeanors, the underachievements of the individuals who have played for the Canes by citing accomplishments on the field as justification.

I'm quite sure they wish it was different.

I see that the Finals don't start until Thurs. Lucky for Dallas they don't get one day to prepare for the Heat like the Pistons did. Otherwise, they might lose their home court advantage right off the bat.

By the way Gonzo, want to guess which team led the NBA in attendance this season? Yes the team with the best fans the Detroit Pistons.

 Good Malloy....I am glad the Pistons led in attendance..guess the jails had a holiday set up for the home games so all the loyal Pistons ruffians could attend the games.

Hey, you guys are in the past....gone from the scenes....we got a tough DAllas team to contend with.

I am sure you are rooting for the Eastern Conference Champions the Miami Heat.....right???

Oh, ....where are the cherries you promised as a loser???...they should have been on the way by now.

    The Gonz...NBA finals....EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS

What do you think cherries grow on trees? They're a seasonal fruit. I'll ship you some cherries when they're in season.

I gotta laugh at you Miami fans. I finally figured out why the white shirts. That way the cocane powder doesn't show.

LG, you might wish to review Sid's recent post on language usage and take it to heart.

Jo Co seems to have a really keen nose for the buck. I think online tutorials for our friends from South Florida could be a money making enterprise......
