Hats off to the Heat. They put the ball in the hoop often and in the long run, that is the name of the game.

I'm somewhat sorry for Joe Dumars who now has to decide what to do with his team. What do you do with a team that won more games than any other this year? What do you do with a team of players who show up and play every night not just in the playoffs? He's a good GM and he has a lot of decisions to make. Good luck Joe.

One thing Joe won't do is to call his old friend Isiah Thomas for advice on what to do! :)

Damn, I thought at least we would make em break a sweat. Great job by Pat Riley whose defensive strategies broke down our offense.

I hope Joe is able is to re-sign Ben Wallace who, despite his offensive limitations, remains the heart of this team. The second is to try and pick up a free agent who can score on the inside. Rasheed has gotten older and fatter and is now a stationary jump shooter and not a very good one at that. McDyess can be effective on the inside but his bad knees really limit the minutes he can play and his maneuverability.

:D Pistons got some taste of "home cooking" by the Heat tonite.....the arena was electrifying......Rasheed was out of sync all nite....ditto for Billups while the entire Heat team was on fire.

The better team won....if we get the Mavs for the final it will be a tough series to win but we can only hope for the Suns.

What happened to Ben Wallace???....he actually made free throws tonite.

Look for Flip Saunders to resign in a week.....players dont like him.

The Gonz.....Lil G and I still have some more basketball time left in the season.

    Gipper.....pay up with them cherries!!!!!

The Gonz.......HEAT IN THE NBA FINALS!!!!!!!!!

Once again... the fans of the opposite team talk to much, looks like an acorn fell on your head

The pistons meanigngless victory of game 5 meant as much as well.... nothing. The Heat as I said would close it out and it seems like the pistons are stunned and I'll say burned by the Heat

look for Ben Wallace to go to another Team and maybe Sheed a.k.a. (crap) too.

It's nice to see the fans of a team that never has won a championship be so gracious. Then again beauty and class never seem to go together.

Gipper, do me a favor and don't clasify all heat fans with the classless remarks of the Gonzo father and son.

As I said above I think the Pistons are a very good team and they showed a lot of class in the post game interviews.

Four straight years in the Eastern Finals, two years in the NBA finals and one NBA Championship says a lot about this team.

To bad some Heat fans don't see that. But then again the are Hurricane fans also.

Actually, in contrast to the nino's prediction, mine was right. One thing I can safely predict, if the Heat lose in the finals, SB's dysfunctional familia duo will scamper back into their holes until perhaps the start of the college football season; then, once Miami beats someone like Florida A&M, they will suddenly re reappear in full baboon hooting and chest thumping regalia, filling the screens with predictions of national championships, only to disappear again once the Canes do their late season swan dive.

That's a pretty good prediction Bobda. I won't bet against what you think will happen.

    <r>Too bad......
Now the comeback is that you have a championship, well I hope you have been paying attention because the Heat have a very very great chance to win one. What else can you say now...

The pistons players admitted miami is a better team than them, and guess what that's a fact, because where is detroit now? at home!

and wait... where are the Heat? there in the FINALS!!

P.S. dont get me started with the canes, we don't want anyones feelings to get hurt

Class dissmissed!!!
Now dang, ain't that impressive!

The Pistons admitted Miami deserved to win because they have class!

    You might observe and learn.

Now as to the Canes, big whoop, get started if you want talk is cheap this time of year.

I'll be watching and rooting for the Heat but if they do win it's their first and the first time they have been to the Finals.

To bad you don't have the class the Piston players have and be willing to acknowledge that the Piston are a very good team and have accomplished a lot the last four years.

Seems to me class is still in session.

Based on the kid's writing style, it seems that going to class was not a big priority.

:D .............Its a pity that the Ugly Bunch got sent home packing....that team that became the most arrogant and hated in the NBA....that same team that caused a riot in their arena....the team that now made mandatory a new NBA rule on fan behaviour....that team whose fans delighted in showering visiting teams with plastic bottles or drinks....that same team whose fans were ruled the most classless by all the sportscasters.

Yes, that same team, fans and home crowd that are the only place and only event of a near-riot.

Oh, all the while that same team got extremely lucky last season on the 7th game vs Miami in the Eastern Conference finals to squeak by on a lucky bounce of the ball.....that same team that at Miami's home court partied on in the most classless of fashions............so classless that Dwayne Wade and Shaq swore it wont happen again.

Riotious fans, arrogant players, boisterous "predictions by Rasheed"....and unlimited ego met their match....and it didnt take 7 games veresus a crippled Wade and O'Neal.....it only took 6 in a merciful and classy mercy-killing by the much better team.....THE MIAMI HEAT.

It may be hard to swallow.....but here in Miami we dont throw objects or spill drinks on visiting players or engage in foul-mouthing.....we got class you see....and now we got the better team.

Go Heat......Eastern Conference Champions...because we are simply better at all levels

    The Gonz.......loving it 8)

    Geez
You make them seem like the college football team that had Warren Sapp dancing in the first half taunting Nebraska before the Huskers ran all over them in the second half.
They sound just like the football team that wore fatigues to the Fiesta Bowl acting so arrogant. Of course Penn St. ripped their faces off.
Yeah Gonzo, I know what you're talking about.

But, that great, classy Hurricane, being the stand up guy that he is, had an explanation why he had a drug pipe in his car!
