Big Game tommorow

<r>This game 4 should be treated liked a game 7, a big big game for both teams, If the Heat win the pistons will face elimination and will be forced to win 3 games in a row to win the series, but the Heat just would have to win one. Even though the Pistons have proven in the past that they come back, and sometimes play best with their backs to wall. If the Pistons win the series will be tied 2-2 and the Heat will be heading to Detroit for a tough game in the "so called" Palace.

My prediction the Heat win tommorow but lose the next game then win in miami in game 6. 4-2
Tonight's game:

Pistons 80 Heat 76 in a "hack the Shaq" kind of defensive game the Pistons love.

It's to early to tell for sure because the Pistons have a way of coming back. But so far it looks like Pat Riley has played it well in getting his team ready for the playoffs and finding the right combinations and chemistry for his team.

And Duane Wade is something else. I don't think there is a better player in the league than him. He's shooting close to 70% in this series and they aren't all easy shots. That basket he made when the game was close whlile being fouled and falling down was something else. He's scored at least 10 points in the 4th quarter in every game in this series.

Every game is now do or die for the Pistons but they seem to thrive on that kind of pressure.

But I like the Heat's chances.

:D The Pistons are dead!!!!.....this is a Heat team they haven't ever seen play together.

I give them Wednesday's game at the Palace.....but Sayonara on Friday nite here in Miami.

Posey and Walker are stepping up their defense to a level never seen before....its like they stepped into the telephone booth and changed into their Superman outfits.

Go Heat......beat the Mavs in the NBA finals!!!!

    Cya Malloy!!!!.....send them cherries....LIl G likes them

I am not ready to shovel dirt on the Pistons grave just yet but having a priest on call to administer last rights is needed.

The Pistons have a great deal of resiliency but look pretty demoralized and are now openly sniping at the coach. But, if they can win at the Palace on Wednesday, they have the ability to steal one in Miami

Wade and O'Neal have been great but Miami's role players also deserve significant credit for the Heat's death grasp on our throat. Two year ago, Gary Payton was destroyed by Billips in the NBA Finals but this year has done a excellent job defending him. Billips can do what he wishes with Jason Williams but once Payton is in the game, he is able to prevent Billips penetration and uncontested 3 point shots. They have also done a nice job in taking away the Pistons bread and butter play: screen curls. Also, last night, Price was eating the Walker and the Heat alive until Posey entered the game. Then, Prince became very quiet.

I became concerned about playing the Heat once Riley took over for he has been able to win coaching teams with markedly different skills. With the Lakers, he won with speed, execution, and Magic and with the Knicks, thuggery in the paint. Riley has molded the heat into a hybrid of the two. They can be you with skill and finesse ( i.e. wade) but can also maul you into submission with a nasty defense.

If we lose, it is not the end of the world. The team is still young and can retool. Also, sticking it so beautifully to Phil Jackson two years gives this team a lifetime award of gratitude from me.

Plus, if the season ends, I still have the Tigers' to look forward to and cheer and, after that, Lloyd and the Wolverines. On second thought, I do have the Tigers…..

Good defense doesn't stop shots, it just forces the other guy to take tougher ones. Well, the Pistons are missing intermediate jump shots from the baseline while Wade is scoring from the 5th row. The Pistons are being outworked on the boards. The Pistons will be lucky to go to a sixth game. The Heat will have to let up for that to happen. (Oh and no comments about tickey tack fouls. That's for minor league fans. You know that type. The one's that all wear white like the Edmonton Oiler fans did over a decade ago.)

    Nice prediction motorcity gator

<t>Great prediction from motorcity gator claiming a pistons win, great call there buddy.........

This pistons are as broke as a homeless man....

The Heat have figured them out and have broken their spirit, Coach Pat Riley has out-coached Flip Saunders by the length of the Pacific Ocean.
The Pistons players have blamed their coach and the refs, they have no one to blame but their selves..

They showed signs of weakness playing the Cavs, who has a good of a defense as Steve Nash (a undeserving two time MVP, one is accetable not last year that should have been Shaq) And the pistons could only score 70-80 points agains the horrible defense and went 7 games where they barely won...

The Heats bench (called slugs by Charles Barkely which was actually true at one time but not now) have out played starters on the Pistons.

Ben Wallace may go down has one of the worst free throw shooters in NBA history in the playoffs, and is not deserving of a 4 time defensive MVP, especially when Wade and Shaq treat him like a toothpick in the lane. Rasheed Wallace resembles an ugly cry baby, The masked man looks like the way he plays that can go to all of the Pistons actually....(except for maybe chauncey billups)

I expect the Heat to not only win in Detroit but for BOOOOO's to rain upon the Pistons

These playoffs are a whole different game as you can tell... The team with the best record in the regular season is about to be eliminated... none of that they play their best with their backs against the wall b.s. And a so-called overatted team is coming together as the best team in the NBA and is on their way to win a title

The experts criticized them....... Only one ESPN expert (Chris Sheridan) predicted Heat in 7 and its about to be 5, I heard one person say Pistons in 5 (no wonder I haven't seen him on TV latley..) Heat Haters can kiss my @%&, because now there about to advance to the NBA finals for the first time in there 18 years of the franchise... Zo, Gary Payton (two locks in the Hall of Fame) , will finaly have there wish granted for there first ever championship. And Dwayne Wade's and Shaq's legacy will continue as two of the greatest players ever to play the game... Possibly THE GREATEST EVER. And there will be a parade on South Beach.... after the Heat win there first ever title.</t>

Ah such grace from some of the fans of the team leading right now.

I don't know where this Heat hater stuff came from. What I see from the fans from Michigan, Gipper and Bobda is grace and admiration for the team they are playing.

What I see from the Gonzo family is in your face stomp on the team that is losing.

I'm a Heat fan but I'll take the style of Gipper and Bobda!

Great quotw Lil G !!!!!...even moma is proud of you!!!...man u got it dude!!!

    ----------------------------------------------

All I know that the Heat smells the blood and they want to kill the carcass at the Palace tonite....in the same fashion a "lucky shot" that ricocheted in gave the Pistons a 7th game win over a crippled Heat team.

Ain't the same Heat team.......and the Heat will win this series..either tonite or Friday at home.

    Cya!!!!

Pressure is squarely back on the Heat....the heat is on the Heat so to speak.

They know in their hearts that they must win in Miami or risk looking foolish in losing a series in which they led 3-1. One of these days Wade's sideways, impossible lay-ups made only by him will somehow be a little tougher to make. He did seem to crack a little by mid 4th qtr. last night so we will see if the Pistons started something with him.

I guess it is true that the acorn does not fall far from the tree.

I suspect the Heat will close out my Pistons on Friday but if we can steal one on Friday, Zo and diminuto Zo might be eating a big ass portion of Motor City crow on Sunday....

The pressure is on both teams tomorrow night.

The Pistons are gone if they lose.

But if Miami loses they have to go back to Detroit where the Pistons are unbeaten in elemination games.

Plenty of pressure to go around.

    Wade Misses Shootaround With Flu
Star Guard Expected to Play in Game 6
    AP Sports
MIAMI (June 2) - Heat guard Dwyane Wade missed the team's morning shootaround practice with what the team said were flu-like symptoms, marking the second straight year his health has been a major factor entering Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals.

Before the breast beating starts let me say a couple of things.

First, the best team did win this series. Miami took all season to put it all together, but put it together they did. They deserved this win.

Secondly, the Piston players interviewed after the game were all class. The Pistons are a very good team and had an outstanding season winning the most games during the regular season. They came up short this year but they have been in the Eastern Conference 4 straight years winning it twice and winning it all once. They are a very good team and from that point of view it makes this Heat win all the more impressive.

    Just my thoughts.
