    No.... but anything elective could be suited to the ability to pay.

    Government run hospitals and clinics.... with quality life-saving care.

    My answer would never be to just let anyone die because of care withheld....never. But hey....that's just me :roll:

    So, in your opinion, are your cataracts considered "elective"?

    My Dupuytren's surgery, although I had lost most of the ability to use my dominant hand was considered elective.

    I would say in no one's situation would cataract surgery be "elective" unless thay had a very mild slow growing case and minimal vision disruption......which is just the opposite in my case.
