    Here is an old clip from 1983 where Notre Dame begins it's 13 straight unbeaten string against USC. My friend and former boss is in these clips playing for the Trojans. His name is Bruce Parks and their disaster begins with a fumble by his roommate, Kennedy Pola, who went to Mater Dei. Tsk...tsk...all those nice Catholic boys who chose to attend the wrong school...

    This is the first time I've had a chance to sit down and watch Jim's last 4 videos. They give me chills. I can't wait to see the Irish on the field again.

    Something I noticed about last year's USC video, Floyd's blocking. In all the hub-bub about his status as a potential AA WR, I forgot that he's a very good downfield blocker. It doesn't take a scholar to know that open field blocking by WRs and TEs is a vital ingredient to a successful ground game.

    By the way, I love the Irish music background on the USC drive. It makes the video seem mystical.
