Lloyd is helping me respond to this Harbaugh bashing and found out that PETA says you guys can afford and buy dogs but then bad things happen.

He is crossing off visiting West Lafayette for his bucket list. He also browsed George's post on the best and worst US cities, pointedly noted to me that Milwaukee is rated a shithole and wants to substitute Fishers for West Lafayette but only if their dog parks have AC and a self serve ice cream station.

When I was in dental school, we did Physiology experiments on dogs who were then killed by injecting KCl into them to stop their hearts. It had been going on for years in the dental school. But somehow it came to the attention of some group who was aghast at the situation, so it was stopped.

They were dogs scheduled for euthanasia at the local pound so it's not like their lives were saved they just got gassed instead of injected.

I'm not surprised that Vet schools did the same thing.

We would be happy to welcome Lloyd to our community. We have very nice dog parks with mist fans, doggie concession stands, and live entertainment on Friday nights. :D

That was nearly 10 years ago...I wonder what their procedures are now?

Going to PETA's web site of course gives only one side to the story...but in general I agree with them. Why can't vet tech students learn their skills at a clinic where there are sick animals who need the procedures?
