Oh sure in commie Europe! :D

Irish hung in pretty well in the first half. In the ACC Tournament the game was over for all purposes at the half. Hopefully Auguste can play well in the 2nd half and give the Carolina front line some competition.

They killed us on their offensive boards in the second half. Fast players slow down as the game goes on but tall players are still tall.

UNC just too talented for the Irish, the size advantage inside was just too much, so many rebounds. I thought we put up a great fight but they finally wore us down at about the 6 minute mark when the UNC kid picked Jackson's pocket then they went on a run and we could never catch up, traded baskets till we had to start fouling.

I think UNC could win it all, OU /UNC would be a pretty interesting match. Although I'll be rooting for 'Nova from here on out.

Disappointing loss for Notre Dame, but the Irish had a great season and advanced further than most of you anticipated. No shame in that at all. :D

Some really great comebacks this year.

Syracuse was amazing yesterday. First 10 seed to make the final.

    Terry,

I am sitting on 71 points. North Carolina is my only pick still in the mix. Max points for me will be 119.

You know looking at the sheets. Bobda is not a lock.

He has Villanova and UNC in the Final if neither of those make it, he won't score any more points.

Fitz has Nova and MSU in the Final if Nova doesn't make it he won't score any more points.

I have UNC and Kansas in the Final if UNC goes to the Final I'll finish 2nd and Fitz will finish 3rd, Boda wins.

If it's an OU/Syracuse Final the standings won't change and Sid will win.

If Nova goes to the Final vs Syracuse I think Fitz wins.

    Go figure.

I'm aware of that, and I'm torn. In another pool, I need OK to lose in order to win. I don't like cheering against Villanova. Realistically, I won't win this pool, so I'm cheering for Villanova to beat OKlahoma. :)

Just WOW! I never could have thought OU would get blown out so badly. I thought OU was the team that had a chance vs UNC. I wonder now if Nova has anything left for the Championship.

UNC looked very good tonight, they have such a size advantage inside and they move the ball inside to those big guys very well. I am rooting for Villanova to win it all, but they will have to shoot it at that 70% clip that they did vs OU and I doubt if they can do it.

It may take the Oklahoma fans a while to recover from that whipping! I think the Sooners beat Nova by 31 points early in the season?

Several articles over the final four in the local paper have taken UNC and Roy Williams to task for their long running academic scandal. It is still under investigation and I don't think anybody knows when the NCAA will hand down it's rulings or what punishment UNC is likely to face.

Both Final Four's resulted in pretty big wins for the teams in the finals .

On the womens side both UConn and Syracuse dominated their opponents and produced big wins by 20 or more points and neither game was really ever in doubt.

The Villanova blowout of OU was the biggest, but although Syracuse men hung in there with UNC it still ended with a 18 point win for the Tarheels and they won going away at the end.

On the womens side I'd give you 30 points and Syracuse! UConn is so dominant.

I hope Villanova has 1 more great game in them, but the size of UNC and skill of their big men vs the 1 big man of Villanova is just too much unless they hit 70% of their 3's or something like that.

UNC just lights out from the 3 pt line. Every thing looks hard for Villanova, looks like UNC is shooting over chairs from 3pt land. If they keep that up going to be very tough for Villanova to win.
It's been a great first half!

When Villanova gets into a championship game, they sure make it memorable.
