Texas Tech putting a whipping on Mississippi State. Running for over 250 yds. Those missing players for MSU must have been pretty important for the defense.
Well, I’m about to go to bed here in El Paso at 10:00pm. I fully expect by the time i wake up on Wed morning there will be another bowl game cancelled. Hell, I’m old, I May not wake up.
Georgia has been impacted by Covid and won't be at full strength for Michigan, near full strength but Smart wouldn't say who is missing. I think I read that JT Daniels had tested positive but that was at least a week ago, he could be available I guess. MIAMI -- Georgia coach Kirby Smart said the Bulldogs were dealing with COVID-19 issues a couple of weeks ago, but he expects his team to be near full strength when it plays No. 2 Michigan in a College Football Playoff semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl on Friday. Smart wouldn't disclose which players were dealing with COVID-19 issues during a news conference with reporters on Wednesday.
Bob Stoops goes out on Top, Oregon a team that was once rated as high as #2 I think, finishes the season with a 3 game losing streak. They are selling T-shirts with the 4 great coaches in OU history on them. Bud Barry Bob Brent ...who hasn't coached a down. Lincoln Riley? That guy is the name that shall not be mentioned again in polite OU company.
I thought Shane Beamer was a risky hire for South Carolina but he's done pretty well in his first year and topped it off with a nice Bowl win over UNC.
Interesting that defensive players going down on almost every play with both teams running a quick tempo offense. That field is a complete mess.
Wow what a go ahead TD by Purdue. TE was wrapped up by 2 Vols who somehow let him twist out of their grip.
Not that it made a difference, but I don't understand why Purdue went with the pop up kick off after they took the lead. Also didn't understand not playing 8 guys back on 4th down. 38 - 38 Tied game plenty of time for Purdue
Tenn answers in a couple of plays. 45 - 45 Might have left too much time. How good is the Purdue kicker?
Odd strategy, Vols going for the big play when it would seem like the best would be to just get into FG range.
Vols miss the long FG, for some reason Brohm decided not to put a player back for a kick six attempt.
