Wow what a first half, that run by Louisville at the end punctuated by that spike on the fast break was amazing. This is shaping up as quite a game.
Great game, Louisville just too deep, too fast, too well coached. Did ya see Pitino duck when the fireworks went off? That's the Italian in him!
You said exactly what I was going to say. Terry. M played well today.Louisville was just a better team.
I really enjoyed that game. Congratulations to Louisville. Pinto is one of the best in the business and in my opinion a class act all the way.
Very entertaining Final Four! Always more enjoyable when the games are close. Hancock certainly deserved the tournaments MVP award.
Bobda...UM team seems very young, how many of your top players are likely to be back next year and are you adding some highly recruited 'can't miss" high school players next year?
It's that Cardinals name....just breeds winners.... GREAT SEASON THOUGH BOBDA!! UM only helped the B1G for future years!!
Indiana's Mr. Basketball, Zak Irvin, is going to Michigan. He's from the same school as last year's Mr. Basketball, Gary Harris, who is at Michigan State. There's quite a path being beaten from Indiana to Ann Arbor and East Lansing.
AJ, If their nickname had been the Cubs rather than the Cardinals, Michigan would have been the national champions. TOK, three 4 star recurits coming in next year - Mark Donnal a PF from Ohio; Zak Irvin, who Sid mentioned, and Derrick Walton, a guard from Detroit. In terms of losing players, Burke will likely be an NBA lottery pick this year. Hardaway is probably gone although he could use another year in school and Robinson and McGeary are likely to stay another year but may be tempted to go pro. If R and M stay, we should have a very good team next year although we will still have the same problem as we did this year playing against big, physical teams. Regardless of the loss, I am still elated about how well they did this year and the class and coaching acumen of Beilein.
Speaking as a Cubs fan, I can't argue with that. Congrats, Bobda. No question who will be the odds-on favorite to win the Big10 next year. Looks like Indiana exports to Michigan something other than relatively low-priced cigarettes.
Whoa....UConn just obliterated Louisville last night, I stopped watching at half time. UConn will be the odds on favorite to win next year and the year after that as well since college women rarely leave for the WNBA. He tied Pat Summitt for the number of NCAA titles last night and as I said it'll be a shocker if he doesn't go past her and then some in then next few years.
