Tennessee needs to get in gear if they are going to win after that fumble recovery for a touchdown. Right now Penn State doesn't seem to be suffering from any speed difference. Go Vols!
Congrats to PSU. Our offense kept the defense on the field too often and too long. PSU deserves the win and our offense should get an assist. Pathetic!
Good game Tom, Hunt was the key for Penn State. He kept control of the clock and kept PSU's drives going. I thought UT could have done a better job with their offensive play calling. They were running well up the middle against PSU's backup DT and for some inexplicable reason abandoned it. I also thought they didn't show enough patience on offense and should have taken more 3-5 yard pass plays to keep their drives going and giving the D a breather. All in all , a very good game, well played for the most part.
Turnovers are killers. Once again, you can't make mistakes like Tennessee made and beat a quality team. Also, PSU tackles very well. They obviously spend a lot of time on fundamentals.
Hey KP What's the feeling down your way about Saban? Many around here think that he's just using Bama to get a sweeter deal from the Dolphins. He's as close to Larry Brown as you can get.
I don't know what to think anymore. Like Tailback said earlier I must be on the wrong planet. Maybe we should ask him??? I don't like the way Saban has been denying everything and I don't think he is the long term solution at Alabama. Having said that, he is obviously a very good coach, but I want someone who wants to be at Alabama for a long time, not just to build a resume. I guess we should find out if this search circus is over or not today.
