I really hope UF can win in Columbia ... as well as Jax and versus Vandy.

WRT the weight of the fish ....... you know I'm probably over estimating, too!!!!

Just a quick thought or two on the UT-Bama game. First of all, I was highly upset that I didn't get to watch the game on TV as I was out of the area the end of last week and could not find it on TV since it was a regionally televised game. After the result, perhaps I should be glad I missed it. I'm sure it was great for Bama fans though.

I was thinking today about UT football which I get heckled about on a regular basis since I live and work in Virginia and Tennessee football is 18-13 in the last 2+ seasons. That is mediocre at best. Now, you can consider that in the 2005 season if a few balls had bounced a little differently they could have easily won 8 or 9 games. I will concede that. However, this season they have been beaten by a combined score of 100-37 against their two biggest rivals. On top of that they lost by 2 TDs to a Pac-10 school which is considered sacrilege in the SEC if that school isn't USC. When you consider all of these factors not to mention the fact that Tennessee is still pumping players into the pros without championships to show for it you have to wonder if it isn't past time to change coaches. I know this is somewhat of an old topic here but perhaps breaking it down by the numbers is what it will take to help understand the discontentment in Big Orange nation.

When Tennessee came out and made the Bulldogs look like whipped puppies two weeks ago they showed what they can do when properly motivated. I thought they would beat Bama easily because why wouldn't they be just as motivated playing the Crimson Tide? They proved me wrong and in the process made it more apparent that it is time for a change of the guard in Knoxville. This is truly a season on the brink for the Vols as word out of Tennessee today was that Hardesty missed yesterday's practice after not getting in the game on Saturday. Things may indeed get worse before they get better. Your thoughts.......

I think it's very hard to get an entrenched coach like Fulmer out, esp when he has a NC under his belt. Look how hard it was for Ohio State to get rid of John Cooper, fans had been down on him for quite awhile and the straw that broke his back was the bowl loss to So. Carolina.

I just have a feeling that you guys are going to have him around a couple more years.

I didn't post Sat because we were gone, but great win for the Bama faithful and a tough loss for Tennessee.

I agree with Terry, it's not going to be so easy to get Fulmer removed. He has been pretty successful.

The operative words there are: has been

    Bye, Bye...

Fulmer... can you say Bye, Bye???
