It's relevant Tom because over the last several years Fulmer and Tenn have both underachieved with the immense talent on hand. Maybe you think they have achieved everything they are capable of but I think you believe otherwise. Concurrently over the last several years there has been an abundance of discipline issues that Fulmer to his credit has been trying to get his hands around. Anyway....just a theory that maybe doesn't fly.
Dave, This is off topic. If you want to discuss this, I will be happy do ENLIGHTEN you in that topic you choose to open. However, there is no way that talking about drugs or the inability of the staff to coach has anything to do with THERE BEING HOPE AT TENNESSEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Any further off topic discussion will be removed as soon as it is seen.
So Tom, what is the status of the QB situation at Tennessee? Unlike MCG I have always liked Fulmer. Unless there is a turn around at Tennessee though I doubt he survives much longer. Right now his two biggest rivals in the East, Florida and Georgia, and the biggest rival in the West, Alabama all have top coaches and get top talent year in and year out. Actually I hope Fulmer manages to turn it around and keep Tennessee up there. However I do think that when the noise gets to a certain point in a program change is inevitable. That's the reason I finally came to the conclusion that Zook had to go. I know your pain my friends so hang in there.
We have no idea: This quote was taken from this article. I have news for him, in case he was not already aware, his back is already touching the corner he backed himself into.
Since possible character issues and discipline problems amongst the players have been eliminated it is down to strictly coaching because the talent as I said has been tremendously abundant at Tenn. If Tenn is not what their fans want it is all on Fulmer's coaching then.
The answer to the question I posed is: Johnny Majors That quote verbatim was: The article can be read here.
I have now planted a seed. I hope it germinates and grows right before Fulmer's eyes and ears: That was a cooment I made on an article called: Foster hasn't lost his grip on starting at tailback.
The natives are truly restless: This is in response to Fulmer stating: Fulmer will review tape and announce his decision on starting QB on Friday.
