I have no problem with his opinion. Tennessee beat the Gators, they lead the East and even though they may be ranked just below us in the polls until we beat them we don't have any reason to complain about this projection. Besides a three seed is a great seed. Gator Bill
My thought is that he probably gives more credence to a head to head win than he does a possible loss in an upcoming rematch. Sounds pretty logical to me. :wink: Do I think that we will win in Gainesville? Possibly! That is the difference in this team and previous Tennessee teams. They go in expecting to win. Coach Pearl is the difference.
With UF's win over Ky the Gators have won a school record 20 straight in Gainesville. If Tenn can go 2-0 vs. UF by winning in Gainesville and ending that streak then it's bow down time for the Gators to the Vols.
We'll probably know a lot more on Sunday morning. UF entertains USC-east and LSU this week while UT travels to UK and UGa. Lotsa BB still to go and both teams could falter, especially with some (more) injuries.
