your attempt to slander the guy is pretty clear. hell you couldn't even provide accurate stats for the guy.<br/>

i like how you move your focus onto me when the subject changes to sh*tty Florida Heisman winners.</t>

If Tebow does well against a fairly good Florida State defense on Sat. then I think he has it locked up.

Since I think UF wins by 17 points....say 34-17 that would mean Tebow does well because the UF offense doesn't roll without Tebow.

The only thing anti-Tebow fans could hope for would be for one of Mickey Andrews' thugs to try and take Tebow out at the bottom of the pile like Dockett did to Graham in 2001 with the knee twist.

I expect FSU to try and pull something like that because that's their style but Tebow is a tough kid so we shall see.

I just noticed this topic was Heisman talk. I quit considering Tebow for the Heisman after his loss to UGA. The Heisman candidate in that game was Knowshon IMO. He certainly upstaged Tebow. My choice for Heisman is the QB for BC. Florida's record just isn't worthy of giving a Heisman trophy to it's leader, especially after dropping so much after a NC year.

So by that I assume you believe that Paul Hornung should not have received the trophy in 1956? He played for a two win Notre Dame team.

I'm ambivalent about the Gators and I do not like Urban Meyer but Tebow is the clear choice for me for the Heisman, team record be damned. He'll either pass through or over you or run over you or away from you. I think I've seen him throw a couple of pretty good blocks as well. He's like the kid we all grew up with that could do anything in sandlot football.... what more could you ask from a player.

I'd trade Clausen and UF's pick of any two of our running backs and one of our tight ends right now for Tebow and never look back!

    TB,

You have got to be the only one in the universe that doesn't acknowledge that Tebow was not Tebow in the Ga game due to his shoulder.

Even so I should quote his stats for that game because they were pretty damned good for an injured QB.

In any event Fla scored 30 points and none of the 41 scored by Ga was Tebow's fault.

Hey I like Tebow. He's great. Being great brings expectations. Florida didn't impress this year in the scheme of things. When HW played he made average teams great. That's what Heisman means to me. Don't like it? Sorry. Quit making excuses for Tebow.

Remember when walker won the heisman? He carried UGA to the National Title. He seperated his shoulder in a win for the NC over ND. Did he make excuses? I think I read UGA had somewhere less than 200 yards offense that game. Walker had 150 yards playing hurt. Boo hoo. That's what make a Heisman.

I read something interesting on another forum. Maybe The Heisman shouldn't be given out every year? I kind of agree with that. There are very few HW's in this world. Those who are lead their team to victory, even while they're hurt. Boo hoo Tebow.

"Sorry. Quit making excuses for Tebow."

    TB....get real.

I hope Tebow is truly healthy next year for Georgia.

You really think Tebow tried to run against the Dawgs?

You really think Meyer called designed QB runs vs. Georgia?

You really think that was the Florida offense you saw that scored 51 points in Columbia?

    You really think that?

I don't think you do......either that or you were drinking quite heavily during the game and don't remember a lick of what transpired.

Not making excuses for Florida my friend.

The Gator defense was so atrocious that day Notre Dame would have scored 30 points on UF in Jax.....( sorry guys :D ).

Kestahn Moore had fumbleitis and there was the bad snap TO and the dumb end around call by the coaching staff on a critical 4th and one that was caused whether you like it or not by their knowledge of Tebow's bad shoulder. A healthy Tebow would have got the call on that play and no one has been able to stop him in that situation.

I am making the statement that Georgia only saw half of what Tebow brings because he had his running game on ice...literally due to the shoulder.

If you don't want to believe that then maybe you'll get to see what I'm talking about next time the teams meet in Jax.

Hey George, while I don't want Tebow to transfer to ND, I do wish Armando Allen had signed with UF. He may have been "the guy" Meyer (and Tebow) needs for this offense.

BTW, wish Wenger and Young has become Gators, too. Oh well these guys whould be about 27% of an outstanding offense sometime down the road.
