Her 40 time is still measured with a calendar but her flexion is up to 100 degrees in the CPM and extension has been at 0 degrees since 3 days post op. She is doing better than I did on either of my knees.

Hey Tenn guys, where is Prince Shembo on your list of priorities? He's at ND now and I think the ND coaches like him a lot. He's not a 4 or 5* player, not sure why though. He has a Tenn offer, is it as they now say "a committable offer" or is he B list for you guys?

    Thanks

When Lane makes an offer, the kid is on the A list. When the kid plays the "let's wait and see" game, he drops to the B list. If he commits immediately but continues to take visits, he drops to B. We know very well that these kids change their minds at the drop of a hat.

Lane is going into this with his eyes wide open. He is covering with contingency plans. I like what I see.

Is he one of your top targets at his position?

    Terry,

I by "your", you are refering to me personally, the answer is a resounding YES. If you are referring to Tennessee, as explained before, he is on the B list. Lane has publicly stated that he would rather have a 3 star that wanted to be at Tennessee than a 5 star that cared nothing about Tennessee.

Personally... I believe he winds up at NC State.

Actually I was asking if Tenn wanted him badly, or were/are they slow playing him with bigger fish on the radar?

Tennessee is not slow playing him at all. He has an offer. He is slow playing which has moved him to the back burner. His choice.

Are Tenn fans excited about the early commit of Eric Berry's brother Evan?

I often wonder how things like that go down, Kiffin or any other Tenn coach can't even call Evan till his Jr year starts in High School. They can talk to him if he comes to a Tenn camp, they can't offer him a written scholarship again till Sept of his Jr. Year. So if there ever was a soft verbal, then one from a 13yr old who is 2 1/2 years away from being able to be recruited and hasn't even played a down of HS football is that soft verbal.

That does not excite me in the least. Now, when he gets older and we see what he is capable of, I may show excitement.

Just because he is the brother of Eric does not mean he will have the drive and motivation that Eric has.

I am with Tom on this one as well. Although the kid is reportedly a great athlete and, according to his father, is further along in his development than Eric was at this stage, this kind of commitment doesn't do anything for me. It is simply a token commitment, in my opinion, nothing more. It doesn't sicken me by any means that they made this offer although like you I am not sure how you offer a rising freshman. I also don't exactly count on Evan to fulfill his commitment. I think it does give Tennessee an obvious edge but they would have had that anyway considering the family ties involved. The fact that this is a national story is much ado about nothing, in my opinion.

Where are you guys on QB recruiting, given what Aquila has said about the returning QB's I'm suprised that you haven't got one committed as yet. The Irish offered Tommy Rees yesterday and he said he's going to chose between ND, Tenn and Stanford. I read some good comments about Rees performance at the Tenn camp. Seems like if you guys have offered that there is more opportunity at Tenn right now than ND (with Hendrix) and Stanford who will start a highly ranked Fr. this year.

Do you think you guys are going to get Scroggins?

    Terry,

Although Jesse would be welcomed by all Tennessee fans, he is appearantly placing a condition on his commitment. He requires that the school that he attends also offer a scholarship to his cousin. CLK has stated publicly that he will not offer 2 for 1 scholarships. His cousin will receive an offer if his cousin earns it.

From what was seen at the UT camp, his cousin could be offered but it was not a "we must have this kid" kind of showing.

Any QB looking for immediate playing time would be a fool not to come to UT. The cupboard is bare!
