Yeah I'm not sure why they didn't review it, but looking at todays paper nobody seems to be complaining. I don't think it was clear that he had control of the ball while his hand was moving forward, so the call on the field would have stood. Jif did you watch the game?
Interesting article on Rivals re Super Bowl; Where the players came from http://collegefootball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=905952
That certainly speaks to the point that you never know within the talent-rich state of Florida where the talent wil be found. I think of communities in Indiana with populations of 10-12,000, the average of the four mentioned above, and you certainly don't see the amount of talent concentrated in one geographic area during the same period of years.
No doubt that Fla has a lot of talent in the state. In fact I posted on another thread that if you look at Purdue's recruiting class I think there is only 1 kid from Indiana in it and 12 or 13 kids from Fla.
Sorry to not have answered this earlier Terry but I've been at the hospital all day due to my wife having her second knee replaced. She's doing fine. I have the same thoughts about Tebow. I am at a loss as to how he can so easily be crossed off as an NFL QB. Big Ben was the difference in that game and he has now been the QB in two Super Bowl wins. That's taking nothing away from the receiver, but if the Cards could have put Ben on the ground the game was over.
Roethlisberger is playing tonight in a basketball game. Ben's sister plays for Oklahoma. Tennessee girls had a 15 point lead and Oklahoma went on a 23 - 3 run to go into the half up by 5. Fairly exciting game for those of us that have a horse in the race. Pat's trying to get her 1000th win tonight.
I see Pat is still stuck on 999, OU is really a great team this year. In fact the B12 probably has better depth in womens basketball than in mens basketball. Carlee Roethisberger didn't have much of a stat line though.
